I found one panorama made with flash and want to ask several questions.
Here is the link(not direct link): www.elong.com/hotels/Details.aspx?m=&hotelid=40201002 Please click"360度全景/图片集", and then click any camera link(example:“标准间”) to view the pano.
Function: change speed; move left; move right; pause&play. buttons are independent from pano.
Here are my questions: 1. Are there any software that can realize these functions?
2. If the anwer is NO. Then are there any tutorials of how to do this? Really want to master this skill though it might be quite difficult for flash programmars. Any help will be appreciated!

for the first step, please get hardware to take spherical photos. An fisheye lens, sigma 8mm f3.5 the best choice. You did not mention if you have pano head. You'd better buy one. Without proper lens, it's quite hard to produce good panos. As for software, I recommend ptgui. Which is easy to use and really powerful.
It's easy to step into this field. Good luck! Vargas www.vtoutsource.com

Oender told me this news and I am happy to be of help. Dorin, we are both in developing countries and I am from China. The price of a sigma8 f3.5 here is about $780(almost 5800RMB). Almost 3 month's salary of a common worker! So I do understand the meaning of this activity. I am the representative of Chinese! Just sent $20.

flashpanoramas is an excellent flashplayer. I have used it for some time. Just need to learn some syntax to programe the player, such as control buttons, hotspot, thumbnail, even map! It is the most powerful player as far as i know.
One simple flash player is pano2qtvr flash version. It's easy to use but not so powerful as flashpanorama.
As for your second question, I have no idea, jaja~~

hello, skpb, there are few tour package software, such as easypano,3dvista and 360dof. easypano need java plugin, while 3dvista and 360dof use flash but speed is a little slow. they all support floorplan, music, thumbnail, etc. Easypano is featured as multiple maps and this is important. Another solution is to outsource your panos to others, like me. We may package panos so you will not need buy software and don't need do by yourself. Just take photos and send to me, you will get final tour. www.vtoutsource.com

thanks for your ideas and I have something more to state.
1. We are located in China and the salary is cheap, so we are able to work at a lower price! 2. We found that we targeted the wrong potential clients before and now will adjust our directions. 3. We have been cooperating with several clients and have set up a basic procedure to resolve our differences.
Now I am sure that pano outsource is possible. I also will thank some friends for your wonderful suggestions!

As a outsource service provider on panorama, I was frustrated temporarily. Sending hundreds of introductions to photographers, but no response so far.
Maybe panorama industry really DOES NOT need outsource! But I would like to find a definite conclusion! These days I have been thinking of this question and would like to hear your reasons about this topic: Will you choose outsource? Why or why not?
These are my thoughts: Why choose: 1.Cheap(only serveral $ stitch&retouch a pano) 2.good quality: can meet your requirements 3.fast enough: usually can finish within 24 hours, or earlier. 4.Save time: don't need waste time on stitching and retouching. May focus on other important things.
Why not: 1.There are not many panos so can finish alone. 2.Softwares are cheap. 3.Have better control on color, etc. Because sometimes people will have different ideas on a pano.(this is a photographer's idea.)
I am sure that you have your ieas on this topic. It will be great to share with us!

Hi, Oender, you're right. this church is indeed near mexico city! I live in China. And this one is taken by my friend there. At that time, he is a newbie and I taught him photography, adjust pano head, pano stitching, etc. really funny. But now he doesn't need me anymore.
