To Billlee,
Flash thumbnail is supported in Tourweaver 6.00 Professional edition.
You can make your own Flash (*.swf) file to use in Tourweaver as a thumbnail container to display scenes as thumbnail components in it.
From Tourweaver 6.00.100908 version, you can find following three files in resource folder of installation directory (...\Easypano\Tourweaver 6 Professional Edition\resource):
* Thumbnail.as * Tourweaver_ThumbnailGallery.as * Tourweaver_ThumbnailGallery.fla The first two decides how the Flash component interact with the tour. The third *.fla can be edited in Adobe Flash to get customized appearance for the Flash thumbnail component (*.swf). Please keep the three files in the same folder and don't change the names of the first two files.
View this tutorial for details: Flash-Thumbnail-tutorial.pdf (See www.easypano.com/Virtual-tour-software-54_488.html for details)
Best regards, Tacy

nullend_void said: What are the available (and recommended) panorama software (stitching & converting to flash) for OSX?
If it was for Windows my choices would be PTGUI, Pano2VR, Autopano. Anything similar for mac users?
Besides all the above, another software for you--Panoweaver (www.easypano.com/panorama-software.html), which could be used to publish a standalone SWF panorama. Hope it useful!

Two Methods to Get HDR Panoramic Image

There are two methods. One is to import Camera Raw file and to stitch it into 16 bit panoramic image. The other is to get HDR image from bracket exposure, that is, to shoot several groups of images of the same object with different exposure value, batch stitch them and then combine them to get HDR image.

stageman said: Hello all, since Im new to this and after reading 1000 posts on this forum ,I would like to ask a question. Please recommend to beginning users like me, what type of equipment they should use. I mean: hardware and software. I would like to create virtual tours, with interactive maps which will include a menu of panoramas etc.. thank you all. god bless
Hi stageman, Hardware: refer to www.easypano.com/Panorama-software-47_382.html and www.easypano.com/pw6-equipment.html
Software: Panoweaver for stitching. Tourweaver for creating virtual tours "with interactive maps which will include a menu of panoramas".
Hope it helpful!

nullend_void said: Interesting ideas guys. My concern is how do you ensure that the camera is always aiming at the center spot of the car? Anyone ever tried using a magnetic compass?
Hi nullend_void,
I suggest using a camera, a turntable and Modelweaver to get a object VR. You could give it a try. If you don't use turntable, I'm afraid the camera can't always aim at the center spot of the car.
As for camera, you could use Still Digital Cams with movie mode like Canon Power Shot G1, or Camcorders like Canon Elura. As for turntable, PiXi™ Motorized Turntable, PiXi™ Manual Turntable or VR Turntable (www.vrturntable.com/). As for software, I suggest Modelweaver (www.easypano.com/modelweaver-gallery.html).
Hope it helpful!

It's not often that I struggle with PTGui & stitching problems - but these images have caused chaos! Can someone with lots more experience than me take a look. Here’s the ZIP of the 5 images, and the PTS file:

What am I doing wrong – because this has really stumped me.
Thanks
Stu
Hi Stu,
Could you please tell me the HOR.FOV of your images, then I'll try stitching. The EXIF info can't be read.

Tom Vogel said: Hi all,
I've got a big job from a home developer needing there latest models shot in HDR panos. I've got the HDR skill and the best pano stitcher (PtGui) ... just running into problems with files over 8000 px. I've heard that the ideal for full screen is 6000 x 3000. That holds true if I run the Pure Player file in itself ... but the moment I have to open it in HTML web pages - the image breaks up on my 20" monitor and gets clunky to move. My client is going to display the panos both on the web and on a 25" tablet touch screen in their sales center. I'll be creating 2 different sized files for the displays. Is Pure Tools the best way to go ... if so ... what would be the ideal resolution? If not... what other programs can handle a job like this ... I'm open to Flash based programs etc.
Thanks for any help you can give.
By the way - here's a look at some HDR panos I shot in France last summer.

Hi Tom, If you'd like the panorama size as 8000*4000, I suggest the software Panoweaver. It supports JAVA, flash and QTVR output. And the suggested CPU is dual core 2.8GHz or more if you'd like to run panos with 8000*4000 on line. Hope it useful.

Henri said: Hi all, Can I ask which panorama player you are using? It's been a little while since I made pano's. I used to use FPP (FlashPanoramas Player) but I have a feeling that it is no longer getting updated and players like KRPano have since past it in functionality.
Hi, Henry, I'm using Tourweaver and Panoweaver panorama player. You could also give it a try.

Sergei Yahchybekov said: As I said, I'm a newbie, and I have another question.
This time, I was wondering if it's possible to convert a panorama image into a video (not a VR) and what kind of software I need to use. I have searched and tried everything that I could think of, Flash, Adobe Premiere, but nothing worked.
What I want to do is, turn a panorama into a video of a set size, perhaps 500x350px, maybe 20 seconds, and have the video automatically scroll/pan the photo from one side of the panorama to the other. Does that make sense?
I want to upload this video on Flickr, rather than a whole wide panorama.
Thanks again!
I know a way to export a panoramic image into a video. You could try Tourweaver 5. One of its functions is to export panorama or virtual tour to video. See www.easypano.com/download/tw-tutorial/index2.html.... It may help.

Hi swoolley,
If you'd like to customize your template with your own logo in a virtual tour, I suggest a professional virtual tour software-Tourweaver 5 (www.easypano.com/virtual-tour-gallery.html), supporting almost all types of images, like cylindrical, normal, spherical etc and supporting exe, swf output.
