Hi there everyone,
I have been trying out softwares, as you recommended.
Hugin is out of question, it´s too complicated. I even followed the tutorials and I can´t work it out. For those who use it, is it always necessary to choose control points? Is there an automatic option???
I also have tried today PTgui (not the pro version) and it reminds me Hugin . It´s easier and I managed to finalize a panorama although the result isn´t very good. See it for yourself.
The blend isn´t good between the first and second picture, thus the girl walking besides his friend/boyfriend it´s partially faded.
Is there an option to correct this?
With Autopano Pro the result was this:
Nonetheless, is there also an option to adjust the blend of the pictures on Autopano?
With panorama pro maker there is that option.
Thank you
Edit: I´m sorry about the second picture, I can´t make it smaller.

Thank you mediavets.
I have now a general good impression of this software. I will explore others to compare and perhaps Santa Claus might bring me a brand new software for Christmas. I have been a good boy.

mediavets or anyone else:
I have been trying out Autopano, which I´m really enjoying, but I have a doubt. In the image bellow there are two faded images of me appreciating the landscape. I don´t know how it would be finalized by the program, because on this trial version I can´t save the picture. My question is: is there a tool that allow me to select where the blend should be between two overlapping pictures? I have tried ever single option and I haven´t found that option.
In this particular case I would like to leave the right me.
Thanks

For a moment I thought you were insulting me.
What´s the meaning of the last one?

Hi,
I´m new here and a beginner in panoramics. I´m really enjoying this site/forum, but as inexperienced in this field I have found some difficulties understanding some specific vocabulary and abbreviations.
I have seen your section "See also" and there are some good explanations and even some definitions, which are great. Nevertheless I think this site would benefit from a Glossary section to help those who aren´t experts and it could also include the meaning of some abbreviations. Even those words or abbreviations that are obvious to the majority, should be included.
Thank you.

Hi everyone,
Mark Shuster: Thank you for your compliments and the links you gave me, although Panorama Pro Maker is a trial version and it won´t save the images in its size, it reduces them to 1/16. About Autostitch, it´s not enough for me, I need something better.
Mathrafal: I think you are right. I already try other programs and Panorama Maker isn´t the best, but its interface is certainly one of the greatest, but it lacks other options. I haven´t tried yet PTgui, but I will.Thanks.
mediavets: I have tried Hugin once and I couldn´t manage to work it out, but I will insist. I have also tried Autopano and I liked it. It was the only program that stitched my latest project perfectly well. It´s an image composed by 20 photographies, I stitched 5 parts horizontally previously and Autopano have stitched these five parts vertically. With Panorama Pro Maker it didn´t go well automatically, I had to do it manually and the final result wasn´t as good as with Autopano. Here is a print screen:
Trausti: You are right, Hugin isn´t easy and softwares that we pay for are better. I won´t forget your analogy very soon. Smooth: Good suggestion, but it doesn´t allow to correct manually when something goes not too well. Thanks anyway.

Hello Jon,
It´s truth that I´m having some troubles with my vertical panoramics and I have done some photos to stitch but I can´t manage to solve the severe slopeness. The ones I posted aren´t so bad. The panorama pro maker don´t let us correct that (the trial version at least).
I will try Hugin software for start. It´s is true that I might become a perfectionist and having a panorama head might be indispensable, but for now I don´t have too much time to dedicate to this passion, although I should buy a new camera soon and I think I will open a thread here to discuss which one I should buy.
I will share a few more panoramics pictures that I have some other day.
Thank you.

Hi everyone.
I´m smi1e as you can see and I´m becoming a big fan of panoramic pictures. But to tell you the truth not every kind, I don´t like 360ª, I just like to stitch photos and have a wider perspective of the surroundings of the landscape.
I don´t understand very much of photography, but I intend to and I don´t have a good camera, just a compact one (Sony DSC-P100). In the near future I will have a better one, a reflex.
About software, I was enjoying Panorama Pro Maker 4, the trial version which lasted for a few months, don´t ask me how. But now I can´t used it anymore, so I was hoping to get advices from you about this issue. I don´t intend to buy a software for now, I would like to use a freeware one.
Well, it´s getting long, so I will leave you with some pictures that I have done this summer during my holidays in Italy, I hope you enjoy it.
