stalwart,
Are you using command lines in the blender? Such as...-MinSize 0 -TSmooth 8 -WrapMode 1

Also are you shooting RAW? I have to agree with John on the color. Could be one of two things it seems. White balance which can somewhat be adjusted in a RAW file or two you need to drop the saturation down quite a bit in photomatix.

I use smartblend with panoweaver and often get a noticable seem on the zenith. Convert to cubic open in PS and use the healing tool for touch up.

Hope this helped,

it probably takes longer to set this up than it would for a normal 3 shot with one camera.

I think it would be the same or faster. With the MrotatorR mounted to the MrotatorH from Agnos, simply extend the pole and fire with the wired or wireless remote. Bring pole down and carry along to the next spot and fire. Although with 3 DSLR bodies mounted to that head, I'm not sure how far I would want to carry it as it would get pretty heavy.

I have been looking at and researching this head. I think that it would do a nice job as far as capturing a large crowd of people.

I would like to try it at my local track being setup in the infield garage area and the pole fully extended to 8 meters.

Kim,

Not sure what your setup or stitching methods are however, this works for me.

Stitching with Panoweaver 5 with drum images produced from Canon 350D & Sigma 8mm fisheye I am able to take the spherical image and convert to cubic. After converting to cubic I am able to use PSCS3 and the healing tool to remove the shadow as well as the nadir and zenith.

I am on #16 beer of a happy hour that got a little extended but will be back on tomorrow evening with a little more clarity should no one else make sense of what I said. smile

Good luck to ya,

Hey Morten,
Not sure if you found answer yet? Take a look at easypano.com/Panorama-software-36_244.html#circul...

you should be shooting 2-3 shots not 4.

I tried the link you posted for easypano forum, however it took me to the main forum. See ya over there.

Hey Carl,
In a nut shell smile Check out the Sigma 8mm fisheye lens to do 360 panos. Attach 400D and Sigma to an Agnos rotator head www.agnos.com/

As far as your finished stitched pano goes it will depend on what you use for output. I recommend Pano2QTVR gardengnomesoftware.com/ this will give you an option of Quicktime or Flash outputs.

If you are wanting to do a complete VT I recommend Tourweaver easypano.com/ It will output Java and Flash.

That's a nut shell, check out the links and research.

Good luck,

Hello dsulvett,
I am by no means a VT God or even a pro, I will share with you what I know and use. First things first you stated the following;

"i need something that I can put together in minutes… and make money…"

If you intend to do the job correctly you will not produce a high quality VT in a few minutes. I would be willing to bet that even with some of the pros here their start to finish time is way more than minutes. Please do not take this in the wrong way, I just want you to be aware to produce a quality VT you will need more than just a piece of software that produces everything for you with the click of a button.

With that said, you need basic understandings with photography, HTML, Java, and Photoshop (if you do not have this program, get it quick)

I use the Easypano products. Panoweaver 5 has improved over the course of the past year, adding enblend technology. Tourweaver 1.3 Pro is what I use for producing my tours. There is an update to Tourweaver 3.0 that includes Flash technology, however I have yet to make this upgrade.

You have listed what you need from you VT-
Most of these items are going to be done by you and not the VT software. Therfore the need for a little HTML, Java, Flash, etc.
1. Maps: save picture as and include as hyperlink on the tour page.
2. School/ neighborhood info tab: Create a link
3. Flyer: Adobe .PDF file
4. Video? Not sure what you really mean here but I'll go with Quicktime: gardengnomesoftware.com
5.Floor Plans: You can include a floor plan with sweeping radar in Tourweaver 1.3. You will also need some type of Floor Plan building software. Usually if my clients do not have a copy of the floor plan for a quick scan, I tend to stay away from them.
6. Mortgage Calc: hotscripts.com search for a .php mortgage calculator script then link to it.

Sorry if I have overwhelmed or discouraged you. I just wanted to point out some of the things that it takes to produce a quality tour. Again, I really think you are misleading yourself by thinking your VT software will produce everything by a few clicks of a mouse.

Bottom line is I would recomend Tourweaver although it not achieve all that you are looking for.

Good Luck to ya,

Softboot,
Sorry about that, should have taken a better look at what you were wanting to spend. So, here is another set up you can have a go at.

Nikon Coolpix 5000 Aprx. $350.00 usd
Nikon FC-8 Fisheye Converter Aprx. $180.00 usd
I have not tried the nodal ninja. I will however highly recomend the agnos MrotatorTCPS.

If you are wanting to save the $ on equipment to purchase the easypano software this may be a pretty good option.

Softboot,
The setup you are talking about will work nicely. I have purchased several products from Adorama including my Canon 350D and would highly recomend them. Below is a list and price breakdown on what you will need.

Canon 350D $609.95 usd
www.adorama.com/ICADRXTB.html?sid=115988829044684...

Sigma 8mm Fisheye $629.00 usd
www.adorama.com/SG835EOS.html?searchinfo=sigma%20...;item_no=1

Agnos MrotatorTCPS head $357.00 usd
www.agnos.com/

Total for 350D, Sigma 8mm, Agnos Head
1595.00

You will also need a Tri-pod and a quick grip leveler helps a bunch. As far as the Tourweaver software you will also need to add Panoweaver for stitching the images. Both combined will cost $999.00 usd. You may do some research here and find that you can save a few $ by going with another type of stitching software.

All products, including Easypano software are what I use as well as PSCS2 and Pano2QTVR.

Hope this helped,

Nice work! You certainly covered the transportation theme. Airplane above a pedestrian bridge and traffic at a round about. Nice job!

John,

I have done a couple of interiors, as noted though I am just really getting my feet under me shooting panos. I am actually working on the images of the cockpit and will send you a link once uploaded.

Oyster run looks like a good time, baby on the way so that means I am having to sell my ride.

Would love to see the Boeing Museum. You should go ahead and put that on your list of to do's. wink

Thank you for the kind comment.

lol. The folks that use them are in some pretty high places. However, most of the ones I work with there are just some good old boys.

Thanks John,

I belive I am now on the right track. Full screen comes in at less than a mb. Used the Pano2QTVR as you suggested. Also went back ot RAW images and started over. I know that I have some stitch errors but out of time today, must go to the job that pays for my pano hobby. My stitch errors I belive is the nodal is still just a tick off. Thanks again for the help.

New link.

Purchased photo gear and software a little over a year ago. Since that time I have at best produced maybe 1/2 dozen panos. Over the past three days I have had a crash course on how too's reading forums such as this. I do have a pano for the transportation theme. I am however not pleased with the quality of image. I did shoot in RAW, processed in PSCS2, just loosing quality in image compared to those on forums such as this. Sorry, this will probably not view in firefox, I have somemore studies to do. Anyways any and all comments are welcome.
