Smooth,

The constrast blending was the technique used in some panoramas in:
www.Santiago360.net

This technique is explained by Eric Krause:

You are right, the people ghosting are One problem!

John,

Thank you very much for your comments!...  you're right John.
The panoramas currently posted on the site  www.santiago360.net are older images.
The photos were taken in raw mode, however (web publishing) some panoramas were sized to 5000x2500, this is the cause to the sharpness.
Regarding the colour balance and contrast, this is not always respected. This was a subjective decision.

I have used extensively your setup CP5000+FCE8.
In order to obtain a good resolution you need to make the shots in FullFrame Fisheye (shots 8+2 or 6+2).

Example: geoimages.berkeley.edu/wwp1205/html/PatricioArmij...

Today I use frequently: canon DSLR + Sg8mm or SLR + Sg15mm, with resolutions between 6000 to 8000px.

I suppose that the real advantage will be in a greater compatibility with digital cameras.

I have the EX versions of the fisheye lenses (8mm, 15mm). They are good, but I would like to know the performance the DG versions.

Hi Marios

U can make fullscreen panoramas, using cp8700 + FC-E9 in mode full frame fisheye.
Shoots 6+2.

If you need to increase the quality I recommend the lens Raynox Full Frame Fisheye.

I hope that this information be of utility.

Hi
The FC-E8 is better than FC-E9.

Hi
My recommendations are:

handheld : EOS-1D + panorama tools + 8mm lens

fast panoramas: EOS-1D + photovista + panohead + 8mm or 12mm lens

high quality: EOS-1D + realviz + spherical panohead + sigma 12-24mm
