Steve,

before this thread expires surprised
www.panoguide.com/forums/feedback/3156/

yes I shot these with a D2x and a 10.5, approx 8-10 shots around (2-4 more than needed) I haven't tried these in a long time with R.S. as it doesn't handle crowds very well

if not for moderation I see no good reason to expire an old thread, when you've done your search, read it and are ready to add sth to it and are obliged to post anew, it dilutes content, and serves not interest of users, very disappointing imho.

thanks Ben, I'm not 100% happy with the interface but maybe I should just let it mature until the next scrapbook.

Hi Dorin,

actually i don't know why, except maybe these 2 out of context could fall in the "pretty pictures" category (which would be counterproductive from my p.o.v.), you've certainly got me puzzled here …

To sound, or not to sound: that is the question

Well the rules are simple for me: I always carry sound gear with me, and I can be attracted to a scene as much from its sound as by its looks (although if it looks like crap no pano will happen) so unless the sound is uninteresting on location I will try my best to include the natural audio from the time I shot (I think only once I used other sounds than those caught on the spot)
as for implementation since in my case it is meant as part of the picture it's right in your ears from the beginning with the little controller to turn it off.

hi,

it's damn cold today, so here are a couple panoramas from last summer to warm you up.

Really just an excuse to put Denis' new flash player to the test, wonder if and how the FS flash9 version works for you ?

We just need to check all the messages these people have sent on Panoguide, panotools NG and photopanorama. WOW

no you don't, unless technique is an obsession and you'd rather spend time in the forums then on the field for which I have no cure cry . My point is get your camera out in a crowd and give it a try, I had the same questions 2 years ago, bought myself a monopod and took my cylinder kiwi+ out for a spin in the crowd, nodal point error margin=50cm on the last one: www.mediapiculture.net/360days/360/13/europe-welc...
I learned a lot that day … wink

Well, well quite a lot of questions and almost no answers yet

there are plenty of answers to be found especially if you work at it. But there still is no vaccine against failure, so how about giving it a try ?
You'll soon find out it's easier then you think …

If you as so offended and think that somehow I'm belittling your name or tutorials I have no problem is removing the reference and links.

I'll let you know the day it becomes too dangerous to continue with this design.

don't cut the links, just add the note that it would eventually pop the lens off in the hands of cowboys like me, Michel & Hans are right it is a critical issue, even a moron like me could notice
