Hi, If I understand correctly: IPIX patent claims, any geometric remapping of a fisheye image is their invention... doesn't matter full pano made up of 2 or 3 or 6 fisheye-images and doesn't matter what type of geometric remapping system being used to construction a panorama. Is that right?
So, if I want to use fisheye lens, and taking 6 drum images and stitch them with legal version software to create a panorama... iPIX will come after me??!!
What can we do now?

Hi, I'd like to create full screen mov file with HOTSPOTS... if it is possible. I don't know how can I insert hotspots into qtime movie file? So far I did some test and create full-screen panos with pull-down menu, but it would be nicer use hotspots... Do you know how to add codes for hootspots?
THANKS!

Did you guys see that 3D-object movies of the Detroit Autoshow: autoshow.msn.com/as/video.aspx?xml=surround&shw=a...
How can I do something like that? I know how can I make simple object 3d... rotate the object by approx 10-15 degrees, stop than shoot... and again. But on the show the cars never stop, and no angle measurements to shoot, so must be a special camera or a nice technique... Any comments?

Helo, I'd like to use Realviz to stitch my images, but I don't know how can I prepare (de-fish) them before stitching? So the RealViz will be able to use them. I shoot: 6 zoom-max, cropped (drum like) images with CP5400, FC-E9. Finally, I got them sharp enough and by using the drum images I have max pixels. Is there any way to do that with a Windows software? Thanks,

Hi, Is there any way to connect a camera (CP5400) to a laptop, so I could see the image on the screen instead of the camera's monitor? Thank,

Somebody please could you help me analyze my test-shoots. I'm getting confused here...
I use CP5400, FC-E9 and I try to make "sharp" image as possible with this set. I know, the FC-E9 is a soft lens, that is why I try different ways. First, I was under that impression, that I should use smallest aperture to maximize the depth of view, focus, so I set f7.9 (max.) But on other forum I found that information: "you should avoid a small aperture with the FC-E9... because of the diffraction starts to become an issue..." Which is right too! So, now what would be the sweet spot setting for FC-E9?
Also, what would be better, if I use the Fish-eye setting in the camera and shoot full circle images, it is only partial of the screen, or zoom max to vertical (like a drum image) and fill more area, get more pixels? Shoot 6 cropped, instead of 3 full circle?
Here is my test-shoots:
1. I used the FC-E9, but I set my camera "normal lens", able to zoom max. F7.9 (maximum): 1.jpg on s129767937.onlinehome.us/private/Img0015/
2. Same above, but F3.5 (minimum): 2.jpg on s129767937.onlinehome.us/private/Img0015/
3. I used the fish-eye setting on my camera, F7.9 max): 3.jpg on s129767937.onlinehome.us/private/Img0015/
4. Same above, F2.8 (min): 4.jpg on s129767937.onlinehome.us/private/Img0015/
Thanks, Balint

Hi, Could you someone help me to find "the best" 3D Object viewer solution. I mean, what would be the best viewer (java, flash, activex...)? minimal download or install for a viewer! I found one at www.360dof.com - called 360.3d - but it's expensive! Thanks, Mekkelek

Hi, Yes, I like it! Very good idea... Maybe the only problem, many Internet user disabled the flash as default (security issues). Anyway, can I test it with my pano, I mean how can I have one?

Hello, I'm a beginner and playing with CP5400 + FC-E9 to make panos. I like the 3 shoots, but maybe that is the problem. I can not get a SHARP panorama. Could you tell me someone, how can I make sharper image with my set? (I used: Mode-A,fish-eye set,iso100,image size max,F7.9max,WB manual set, sharpening max, image quality fine and I tried RAW...)
Here is my original 3 pic. s129767937.onlinehome.us/images/3shoots.zip

Hello,
I see many of you doing virtual tour as a "business". Do you have a "good" SAMPLE contract form... you know, when customer order a virtual tour service from you, what should be included in the "contract"? (I don't want to pay for lawyer...)
Thanks
