Thanks to all again...I finally did it! Saved as a photoshop project, blended and layers. The blended pano was the background then I edited the sharp Hazels...the bits I wanted and the final result is here if you care to look...

Some very good knowledge in here and it's much appreciated. Amazing how geographically diverse my answers were too.

I'll be back smile

Thanks guys.

Hi all, my first post here after a fair while lurking.

I was trying to experiment over the weekend taking a 360 of my daughter in the garden, but with her making multiple "appearances" in the shot.

So, I'm using a Sigma 8mm, Canon 450 and an NN3. Take 6 shots, 3 of which have Hazel in them (they all look good individually) then refer them to PTGui. The aim of course is that I get a 360 shot of the garden, and Hazel can be seen gurning at me 3 times in the shot!

However, because PTgui just lays one shot over the next, so you have the last (or is it first!) shot as the foreground and vice versa, and because 6 shots gives lots of overlap, the software is giving me pictures of half a daughter in places !

I know I could change lens and get less overlap, or take 4 shots with only 2 Hazels in but that's not the answer I'm looking for. Instead I want the 6 shots, and the 3 Hazels!

Is there some way of protecting/preserving an area of a single shot with PTGui or any other good stitching software so that I get the result I'm looking for please?

Answers greatly appreciated and keep up the good work one and all!
