How Do I limit QTVR vertical view

I created a 360 x 160 degree pano using PTGUI and output it in quicktime format. I did not capture nadir and zenith shots. When a user pans up how can I restrict the QTVR to stop where the actual images stop so that the black holes at the top and bottom aren't shown?
Thanks, Ivan

I'm trying to create images for a company that wants large shots of their rooms. I'm keeping the FOV to 100 degrees or less but I'm still getting distortion in some places. For example... the clock and stool in the lower left.
How can I eliminate this distortion so that everything looks relatively normal?

I'm new to panos and I've been asked to capture the inside of a building. Is there a way to make all the lines in the pano architectually correct or do I have to go with a super wide angle lens instead. Is there a way that I can fix this picture so that the lines look straight verses curved? I'm working on an APS-C camera and don't have access to a full frame and so I thought I could cover the insides with a pano it seems that I can't do that and have architecturally sound images. By the way, I haven't cropped this image down yet nor fixed the dust spots.
