I followed the advice of bigwade and bought one for 700eu on marktplaats.nl but i'm still confused about what ring to buy as there are so many on offer!
Thinking of selling the D50 but still not shure about the lens.

Hello all, right now I use a Nikon D50 with a 10.5mm F2.8 Nikkor lens but I can buy a second hand Canon 5D but have some questions.
The seller wants Euro 900 for it, I know they come cheaper in the US but not many are willing to ship to Europe, is this a good deal or should I buy another camera?
What are the points II should check and what questions to ask?
What about an adaption ring for the 10.5m F 2.8 Nikon lens?
Or would II be better of buying another lens?
What kind of cheap/not to expensive lens should II buy to make non panoramic photos?
I know these questions are dispersed over the forum but maybe things have changed as time went by.
Thanks for your advice.

PHP sessions and .htaccess are out of my reach!

the photo gets me a lot of visitors on my site trough 'google images', they are the ones that should not use the photo, for the rest everyone can copy it.

it would not be the first time that realtors and other people renting out holiday homes in the area use(steal) my pictures

I know it's not 100% but try to copy the photo just over halfway down the page and look at the result

dunesdugolf.eu/koop.php?id=f02&lang=en

Most people will copy the photo without checking and leave the site, when they look at the result I hope they forgotten the source and have a useless photo.

One will have to into the html to find what is going on.

The city of Kortrijk, Belgium where I live likes to do things another way, maybe the 'The Egg' did not get enough attention so now we have 'The Dogbone' northeast of the first.

Doug, a question and a remark.

question: how does one submit its work on allposter?

remark: it's not because there is already a car shop in town that there cannot be a second one.

Excellent idea Jorgen, there is a panorama maker who is also a professional printer, why not let him do the printing and posting.
check www.carloschegado.com

Then we need someone to set-up and maintain the site, i be willing to help.

The lens fits perfectly on my Nikon D50 with 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G, I can zoom to full circular, portrait cropped circular, diagonal cropped circular formats but the combo is to long to work with my NN3.

It hoped to be able to use it on my Panasonic DMC-FZ10 but failed, it probably does not work on the whole FZ series.

When you click 'Make offer' on:
cgi.ebay.com/Ipix-Fisheye-digital-camera-camcorde....c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A131eek!301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

it says 186 availlable, not 1800, sorry.

It looks like they have over 1800 of them.
I offered $40 and got one, maybe you could try to offer even less. It's difficult to sell all 1800.

I wonder if this new 7-14mm/F4.0 lens can match my Nikon 10.5/F2.8 for panoramas.
www.dpreview.com/news/0903/09030313panasonic7-14m...

If I'm not mistaken at 7mm (14 at 35mm) the diagonal is 144 degrees, this would be 115.2 x 86.4 degrees and seems usable.

The upcoming Panasonic DMC-GH1 goes to ISO3200 and will probably be usable in ISO800, my D50 is horrible at 800.
www.dpreview.com/news/0903/09030316lumixgh1handso...

The camera can also shoot 1920x1080 video and is smaller and less heavy than the D50. Could this be my all in one camera with only 1 extra lens.

I also wonder what angles you get when shooting 1:1 instead of 4:3 although you get a lower resolution.
