I have an US shipping address (myus.com) so shipping is not a problem, on the other hand somebody already bought it .
The one who bought it, if he/she is here, please share his/her thoughts about the lens so we have an idea bout this kind of refurbished lenses.
Thanks for your replies guys.

Damn this is good. Nice details. But it takes almost a minute to load all tiles in the frame while fully zoomed in.

Hi, I found a refurbished sigma lens on Amazon for half price. Amazon says that this item is Stored, Packed & Shipped by Amazon!. Should I trust a refurbished lens (not 100% of course) since there is a huge price difference between refurbished one and brand new one (~350$).
Anyone who bought sigma refurbished?

I am a programmer, php and actionscript (flash), and this virtual tour can be done with just photos, adobe flash, and a little programming. It doesn't give 3D feeling like you are in there so you don't need any other software like pano2vr to convert your panos into 3D and put hotspots. (you may only need ptgui or other stitching softwares to stitch panos).
I'm sure that museum hired a guy/company and paid for this custom flash VR.

Thanks for this great project.

Hi Jeff, Now, I am a member of 360cities. I uploaded several panos and all of them are published now. How long does it takes to see them on Google Earth layer?

You can pass variables and their values into a swf movie (actionscript) using FlashVars. You only need FlashVars if you are coding actionscript in flash.
If you are using flash panos or simple animated flash movies you don't need FlashVars. Just leave it empty.

ı tested 10.5, it needs 25 degrees. But there will be a giant hole at the bottom.

I am using D300, and since I bought my D300 only 2 months ago, there is no way for me to buy a new camera again.
Sigma 8mm on a D300, does this combination produce 180 degrees of vertical coverage or still needs a full frame camera?

Yes you are right, zenith hole will be too large and no way to cover it. I thought it will also cover zenith for a moment. Thanks.

Before buying Sigma 8mm I suggest you to check Nikkor 10.5mm also. It has less coverage area (you need 6 images + N + Z) but image quality and sharpness is better than sigma.
But if you don't care about the sharpness but care about coverage and taking less shots, your choice should be sigma.

Hi, I have nikkor 10.5mm lens and 303sph. But I really liked P360precision Atom because of its portability. Now I need source images for comparison, before buying it.
Does anybody here have this lens and pano head combination?
If yes, could you please share 1 set of panorama source images with me.
Thanks in advance.
