I have used both 303SPH and Agnos's pano head with my 8700 DC. When I stitch the images with Panoweaver ( www.easypano.com ), both looks great. If you prefer not to adjust the nodal point by yourself, agnos's will make it easier. But if you choose 303SPH, you will not worry about the DC upgrade problem in the future. As is said, a coin has two sides. It is up to you.

As a company specialized in web design and making virtual tours, I have been familiar with almost all the products list by James. I would like to add some comments. The products from www.easypano.com seems to be the best-of-breed. I have been staying with its products for years after trying and using several other products. Its Panoweaver is really very user friendly. It takes only one-click to make a stitch, which is really amzing. As for its new released Tourweaver, I suggest everyone in virtual tour industry should try it. It is a brand new and historical prouct except some minor flaws. I do not mean to mislead users, but it really worth such a word. Its interactive map with radar scanning effect is really terrific, which will indicate clearly when the user is located. I wonder why James has not written a review for Tourweaver yet. I would like see a in-depth review of it by some experts.
As for IPIX, I have ever used their products for about one year. I finally give it up not only because its terrible per stitch fee or annual fee, but also its lack of development in new upgrades of its products.
I have not purchased 3Dvista, but did try some of its SWs. Its interface is gaudy, whereas its fisheye image stitching is not of much use since I can not have good stitching with it.
Panotools has some reputations. But it is not something for a commerical product for users like me. It is just too dificult for me to learn to use it.
