Hi arampan,
Nice pano. I'm interested in how you used an offset flash to illuminate the scene. What flash unit did you use and how did you get the exposure correct for the multiple exposures?

Hi Michael
If you are running Stitcher 5.6.2 you'll be fine with Leopard the issues were with 5.6.1 which were fixed in 5.6.2. However, use Enblend for your external blender and you'll get much quicker results.

Hi Delvin,
Here's a shot I took using a NN3 rotator with a D200 and a Sigma 8mm f/3.5 which I think is a little heavier than a Nikon 10.5mm:
www.360tacticalvr.co.uk/showcase/d200/glasgow/exc...
I think you're probably at the upper limit of the tolerance on a NN3 using a D200 but as you can see, even though I know it's a forgiving dark image, the results are fine. At the end of the day, I would say it's the stitched images you get from using the kit that define how compatible your equipment is.

Danilo,
You are completely missing the point. This is to show how you can use the lens to get a good stitch even HAND HELD WITH IT WAVING AROUND ON A POLE 25 FEET IN THE AIR!
There was NO nodal point setup as the camera was mounted directly to the rotation point. To be able to get a stitch at all is nothing short of a minor miracle and proves the tolerance that is in the lens for bad image taking!
I'm sure there will be other examples of precision stitching but this is something to show how it's still possible to get acceptable images in adverse conditions.

I would normally display images from this lens in a reduced window and not full screen. Therefore the image will have an overall sharper appearance.
The source QTVR has autospin on it added when we compiled from REALVIZ Stitcher 5.6.2. I'll update the file later today without the spin.
The pole system we used I think you will find has quite a number of features not found on the Agnos system.

So here's a 4 shot HANDHELD POLE MOUNTED example from the Sunex lens, shot on a Canon 400D at the Focus on Imaging Show here in the UK:
www.360tacticalvr.co.uk/showcase/sunex/pole_test/
Note; this is currently a 3MB file. I'll upload a smaller version later.
This is a hand-held pole mounted system with NO NODAL POINT setup at all. The pole system is supplied by Ian Toms of Focalpoint www.focalpoint200.co.uk and the images were stitched using REALVIZ Stitcher 5.6.2
We simply attached the lens to a Canon 400D, mounted the camera on the body tripod mount to the pole system and raised the pole up then took 4 x shots, while the pole was being handheld, so there is of course some movement and mis-alignment. We also took a 3 shot test but I have not yet had time to stitch the images.
Email me at info@360tacticalvr.co.uk for the source images.
Considering the circumstances under which we took this image, I think it's come out quite well, what do you think?

I'll post some 2 shot images using this exact method tomorrow, taken at the Focus on Imaging Show - Birmingham NEC in the UK where we are launching the UK release of this lens and rotator.
If anyone is coming to the show you can find us on Stand LK2.

Hey! My web site is now a "Tiny URL"! Cool!
If the Scottish weather permits tomorrow, I'll take a 3 shot from the Sigma 4.5mm f/2.8 and a 3 shot from the Sunex 5.6mm f/5.6 at the same location so you can compare like for like.
The Sigma 4.5mm will be on a Nodal Ninja 5 rotator so the comments about the differences in position between a 2 shot and a three shot are interesting to me as I was testing the 2 shot/3 shot Sigma 4.5mm and I did think there was a different position needed, not sure if it needs to move forwards or backwards though....
