I use the NN3 ll with my 40D and am very happy with it. However this is about it's limit of adjustment, and if I were starting afresh I would get the NN5. The benefit as I see it are more stability together with less vibration, and more room to grow. The extra weight and size is certainly an advantage, as well as a disadvantage in term of cartage, but worth it.

Instead of a solution looking for problem, it is a long waited solution for existing problem. NN180 will help people make better use of existing equipment. So NN180 is a solution for the past, present and the future. nick
You could say it is part of a Pano-system... with out a fixed way of using it, or its components. It can solve many needs. I read somewhere that it will soon have a tilt adapter available , which will give other options/solutions?

I agree with rudders... Using the magic brush selection to rough out a selection then quick mask is both quick and accurate ... you can enlarge to any degree to quick mask for the finest detail.

Full Frame v Wide Angle

Full frame and Crop frame are more about quality than anything else. larger frames(sensor sizes)Tend, for many reasons, to have cleaner pixels, this is most noticeable at higher iso settings and higher pixel counts.
lenses are available for each sensor size that give comparable angles of view for each sensor.
People are only confused because it has become normal to think in terms of focal lengths for 35mm film cameras. People also forget that large format photographers have a quite different appreciation of the angle of view of say a 90mm lens(wide angle) to a 35mm user (90mm = short tele)
For this reason lenses are computed to cover the area of the sensor size for which they are intended... an efs lens will not cover the area of a FF sensor. Whilst the same focal length designed for a FF sensor will cover a crop sensor with much area to spare.

There are times, when I too consider it time for me to have a personality transplant. I tend to be unnecessarily abrasive and distant and not very interested in others problems. However I am now retired and these shortcomings are no longer are a danger to my customer relations.
On the other hand you are in the position of selling an excellent high quality product.
It would seem appropriate that when things go wrong in the customer/sales interface, to assume that the customer is neither stupid nor trying to take advantage of your good nature. That they have a real problem that needs addressing; That even if they might seem rude, it is better to engage with them, if only to gain what is vital in the world of business, a satisfied customer who will spread good will towards you and your products.
It is never a good Idea to treat these situations as a personal battle.
I know where you are coming from, as I share some of your instincts... unfortunately they always tend to be self destructive.

It is strange how some manufacturers always seem to pick up the most awkward customers...
Is that the case?.... or is it some of the other manufacturers know how to understand their problems and handle them better?

This can all get to be like dressing up to go to a ball but not to wear shoes.
Finishing touches are professional.. even if it is just to limit the view.

Don't bother to go to a DIY store like B&Q They will tell you they are not made.
as I said most engineering supply stores and fixings specialists have them as they are needed as service parts.
You will also find that Motor shops that specialise in restoration car parts will also have them, often finished in chrome.

They are still available from engineering suppliers or Fixings suppliers. there must be more than one of these in your area.(try yellow pages) What you need is a 1/4 inch whitworth bolt, they come in many types and lengths. You can also get lock nuts and washers to fit.

You seem to be having a problem getting you mind around depth of field.
Depth of field is a by-product of focal length, distance focused, circle of confusion and aperture. I suggest you study up on the subject as this is not the place for a long explanation.
You can be rest assured it has nothing to do with the make of lens.

3 hours seems a bit quick to do a £10,000,000 property. Do you even know the direction of the sun, and the best time to do each shot?
