Hi, I purchased Agnos MRotatorUT Panohead few weeks back but didn't receive any documentation along with that on guiding me how to configure it and use it? Can some one please share or give me pointers to information on the usage of Agnos MRotatorUT Panohead?

I purchased Agnos MrotatorUT. While going through the a reporting manual, www.agnos.com/dati/download/reports/mrotatoru350d..., I saw that they also have used a Ball head in between MrotatorUT Pano head and Tripod. Do I too need to purchase a ball head or it will work without ball head too? Haven't purchased a tripod yet, but will be doing that in few days, hence have this doubt.
Moreover, I see a spirit level in the Agnos panohead, which provokes to ask that do I really need a leveller now? Can this spirit level suffice?

But the max height of 190XPROB is 1feet lesser than 055XPROB and I guess it will be better if we can keep the camera around center point between roof and floor to have good continuos panorama. Moreover, maximum capacity of 190XPROB is 4kgs and of 055XPROB is 7kg and with 450D+Lens+Rotator, weight will be around 4kg only I think.
About Velbon, I am not sure whether its available in India or not.

Hi,
I am relatively new to pano shooting and have Canon EOS 450D, Agnos MRotatorUT, Sigma 8mm lens and only thing left is tripod now. Based on the feedback and research, I am planning to go for Manfrotto 055PRO Tripod and 555B Column Leveller. But this is quite expensive. Can you guys please suggest me some better alternative which will be easy to use, good for shooting panos and cheaper tripod?

Thanks a lot Smooth, nick, mediavets and tturner for your posts and opinions. I have zeroed on MrotatorUT as it suffices my needs at the time(450D + Sigma 8 mm) though I agree that TCP short will be better if I want to use 10-22mm too.
Now I am left with one more query.
Do I need to purchase any plates / rings to hold the camera and the lens with the rotator or the basic setup of the MrotatorUT panohead will suffice? Do I need to have any other stuff to put on tripod for balancing needs?
My complete kit for shooting panos: Canon EOS 450D, Sigma 8mm lens, Manfrotto 555b column leveller on 055 tripod series, Agnos Panohead MrotatorUT Basic Bracket + Rotator T
Thanks, Satyendra Mishra

I intend to use Sigma 8mm FE for shooting panos and Canon 10-22mm for shooting WA images. From the thread, it appears that MrotatorUT won't suffice with canon 10-22mm and hence will have to go for Mrotator TCP short in case we want to use Canon 10-22mm & Sigma 8mm both.

Hi,
I want to make good quality panorama for real Estate and the equipment I have decided on is : Canon EOS 450D, Sigma 8mm lens, Manfrotto 555b column leveller on 055 tripod series, Agnos Panohead MrotatorUT Basic Bracket + Rotator T
I would also like to shoot good quality images of the homes for real estate photography, for that I decided on canon 10-22mm lens. On communicating with Agnos people, they told me that for Canon 450D + Sigma 8 mm, MrotatorUT will suffice but for Canon 450D + Canon 10-22mm, we will have to go for Mrotator TCP Short as UT will not suffice.
I need help to decide which panohead to go for. Is MrotatorTCP short really required or MrotatorUT will suffice? And for creating good quality panos, will TCP short be better than UT? I came to know that UT has auto clicks and stop feature which TCP short doesn't have.
Moreover, do I need to purchase plates / rings to hold the camera and the lens with the rotator or the basic setup of the panohead will suffice?
Thanks, Satyendra Mishra

Hi Everyone,
I want to make spherical panoramas for real estate work and want to achieve good quality.
I am completely new to photography and panoramas and need you people's help on the configuration needed of the devices to make such panoramas. The configuration that I have decided on till now based on the research I did are :
Camera : Canon EOS 450 D Lens : Sigma 8mm 3.5 Fish eye lens Tripod: 555b column leveller Manfrotto PanoHead: Agnos "MrotatorUT" Basic Bracket + Rotator "T"
When I had mail conversation with Agnos people, they told me that Agnos panohead("MrotatorTCPshort" Kit MrotatorT with bracket) will be better for my requirement. Can someone please help me with choosing the panohead configuration for the selected set of devices? Is later suggested panohead better than the earlier basic one and Whats the advantage of TCP short kit?
Please comment or suggest better alternatives/upgrades to this configuration in case the selected devices may not be able to give desired result.
Thanks in advance!!
