What is your shooting pattern, how many shots at +5 pitch, are you shooting zenith at+ 60 or +90?
Seems something is wrongly set either in ptgui or your shooting method. With NNR10 I would expect a perfect stitch since it has a detent rotator.
Is this the setup which you are using? store.nodalninja.com/products/R10-Static-Tilt-Hea...

Its stable if you don't have to touch the camera which is not the case in panoramic photography. Even if I use a remote i would at least have to rotate the pano head & makes it wobble.
Indoor its a failure outdoor it works as the objects in panorama are far off.
I thought you already had a stable tripod adapter for 6m pole isn't it? or are you looking for a much more stable base than that when the pole is fully extended.

Yes you can use it but you will have to take too many shots & will need lot of extra processing work.
It will be good to start with single row panoramas with your canon camera+ canon photo stitch software all you need to but is a panohead & calibrate it for your camera.
If you can tell your budget then we can tell you more specific details.
Eventually you will need dedicated software+fisheye lens+ SLR camera+panohead.

Nick I wonder why dont you have appointed dealer/distributor in India. The one shop which sells the most SPH303 says he contacted your company via contact form but have not received any positive response from your side which I cant believe knowing how active nodal ninja is on the web.
He is dealing in entire manfrotto series, gigapan heads & many photographic brands but dont have best of panohead Nodal Ninja series.
Would you be interested in appointing local seller I can recommended them for sue as they are quite proactive with support system.
I my self have to order NN equipment worth $1500- but personal import duty which is 42%+local tax stops me & make any professional think twice.
Let me know if you be interested.

To my knowledge in 450d there is no custom settings available, it was introduced in later models in 2008/2009.

Since you use canon & I assume the latest models like 40D have custom program save setting using that you can do the following.
Set all your settings & now use exposure compensation to -2 & save this setting as C1 (lefthand top dial)
Change the exposure compensation to +2 & save as C2
Now at a turn of dial you will have C1+C2 exposure changes taking place.
shoot at C1 3 shots shoot at c2 3 shots
you will land up with 6 shots out of which one will be same so you delete anyone of that exposure, you are left with 5 exposure which are -4-2 0 +2+4.
Does that help?

I prefer the lightbox popup because it darkens the rest of the screen & make the tour stand out, nevertheless in both cases there are too many graphics & distracts from the viewing experience.
May be you can switch them off by default & user can switch it on, otherwise very good skin & design interface.

Oh so its the flash limitation which is limiting the zoom, I didn't know that.
On viewing the krpano panoramas how do you right click to get the context menu?
Hans how good is the battery life with HTC Desire Z since you have been using you may have better experience.

I plan to market the 360 panorama to clients & want them to see on smartphone, after all that's the future.
What all phones are using or what is best in terms of display quality & flash ready browser which can do smooth zoom in/out with finger & right click menu on browsers if possible.
Iphone does not support flash so I am looking at samsung, htc & motorola. Any other brands you would suggest?
