Hello Valentin,
I had enjoyed all your latest panos, very nice places. Your work is evolving and improving dramatically. Keep the good work! About the flash, may be is a good idea to use Fiero´s auto detect script to allow viewers to choose from devalVR, QT or FPP.
Have fun!
Oender
Ps. Bad boys put info or logos in the zenith region of their panoramas.

Hello Laszlo,
For sure, all your options are correct. But I can reduce my recommendation for the Sigma 8mm f/3.5 EX DG and the NIKKOR 10.5mm f/2.8G ED.
The Sigma is a little “more versatile” than the nikkor because you will obtain a full pano with only 4 pictures (nadir and zenith pics may needed). This is very useful when taking hand held panos for example.
I personally prefer and work with the nikkor 10.5 mm (6 pictures around plus zenith and nadir).
Both lenses are very crisp and sharp. Tip: If you decide for the sigma do not forget to buy the newest f/3.5 version. Stay away from the old F/4 version.
Cheers

HOla sapper,
Hum I think both pc and Mac have the same software and utilities needed for our job. If you get the Mac Book Pro, you can also create a dual boot system with XP and OSX or if you prefer you can run XP from a window in your OSX desktop to use any XP software. Under OSX Leopard, can run XP in his native speed and with all CPU cores. A Mac user does not necessarily have to use Leopard, because thanks to the switch to Intel processors and programs like the one built into Leopard, Boot Camp (not Billy's), Windows can run natively on Mac hardware. You can startup in Leopard, or XP, or Vista if you like.
With the Mac Book Pro, you can also test your panos and web pages in both platforms in the same machine to find for any display errors or compatibility issues.
If you decide for the PC you will have all the software needed to create your panos. Before decide for any lap take care about the graphic card, RAM memory (2 GB minimum, 4GB for more power and finally a big hard drive is a must.
Hope this help. And do not forget to focus on hardware power instead of eye candy lapys.

The most short but right answer ever posted here! hehe I second racenviper, going with PTGui is a good idea as you will start learning from the beginning with the best stitcher available. PTGui has a little tricky learn curve but once you learn it puff! You will get Impressive results.
