I've not read all that's been written in this thread so my info may be outdated. I'll just write down what I use now.

It's PTGui 7.8 + smartblend plugin. Excellent solution. Corrects all my mistakes (for i prefer handheld shooting). Very fast. I've got 4 core comp and 4 Gb RAM and 100 Mp stitched image (multy row one) takes so little time to be done that really I never timed it. I use Batch stitching. And while I prepare the images of the next pano and send it to the line for batch stiching the previous one precesses happily. I can make up to 50 50 Mp panos in 2 or 3 hours.

2. Autopano Pro. Excellent software. Lots slower but it does the job when PTGui refuses do do it or comes with monster solutions if you get what I mean.

3. Panorama Factory. I was with it up to 4.0 version. It had so many mistakes that I would not consider it at all.

So my advice - stick with PTGui and Autopano Pro. (the latter has a buildin smartblend! With PTGui you have do add it manually. Only Smartblend technique makes the stitchig worthwhile!!!

You may also add to your software stable Pano2VR and some pano viewers.

I don't use HDR technology build in those softs, I prefer first to process them in Photomatix. It gives better results and no out-of-memory problems.

John and Hans, thank you for replying so quickly. I have PTGui 7.8 and Pano2QTVR. I am not sure about the latter but I couldnt find mov to jpeg converting tool in PTGui. There is one that converts an ordinary pano to QTVR. I missed something? John, can you please specify the location of mov to jpeg converter there. Thanks guys

Someone knows how and with what software can a QTVR mov file format can be converted back to "normal" panorama (tiff \ jpeg).

... or can I convert 6 cubes (Tiff \ jpegs) to "normal" panorama?

Thanks
