Thomas, It looks a lot like you used a 3d printer to make your pano head. If I am right, do you plan selling your 3d model on one of the 3d marketplaces?

i don't know the guy who is selling it, however in a market economy supply and demand is what determines the price. his domain is unique. if he was selling apple.com how much would you have offers for it? $15... if you where in oranges business maybe.

what I trying to say, it makes no sense in low-baling his offer or make fun of him.

this is my 2 cents on the mattersmile

Nice work Pierre. I like your panos and the website is neat and easy to navigate.

In my opinion the map is to small.
I can not turn off the info screen once opened.

Hi,

I have recently granted access to shoot a nice classic cars and planes collection. Before I go I would like to ask you guys if you have any advice, experiences shooting similar venues. What would you do and what not?

Besides spherical panos I would like to try a "flat" pano, because the cars are in rows not in a circle. I want to give the sensation of passing by. For this I am planning to use my Nikon 18-55mm lens and move my tripod in a straight line in front of cars. Any experiences, advice on this?

I use Nikon D200 with Tokina fisheye, Manfrotto xprob tripod, NN3, Ptgui pro, Pano2vr.

Thanks,
Laszlo

I own all my knowledge about panos to the members of this forum and James for creating the website. However I feel that James sold us.

I think I understand why he did it and probably I would have done the same.

Thank you all.

Shannon,

these well do fine for you and are free.

www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/archive.html

Download the sibl you like. In the folder should be a full res hdr file. You can tone map that or use the *_bkg.png/jpg files which should be already tone maped

good luck,

Panoramic photography website template for sale

It seams there has been an misunderstanding and I would like to apologize for this.

There is no software to be installed on computers. All the access to the website is made via web, similar to the way many of us access their yahoo, gmail or any other webmail accounts.

As a photographer you can now concentrate on creating great panos and then easily transfer them online for display.

Thank you all for the great interest shown in my product and sorry for the inconvenience.

Panoramic photography website template for sale

Jurgen,

You asked me three questions and I will try to answer them shortly one by one.

"What makes you think that people who want to sell (or buy) panoramas want a huge map on their screen?"

Especially for VR Photography, besides content the location where the pano was taken is important.

If you have the patience to navigate the categories you would observe that by activating a category the map get's populated with markers of VT's from the specific category. The same time under the map thumbnails from that category appear.
You also have the possibility to activate multiple categories. Because each category has different color marker you can easily differentiate between VT types on the map.

The idea behind this website is not to sell photos. This website is intended to sell panoramic services and should generate revenue for the owner in 3 ways:
- from shooting the panorama
- from selling hosting on the website
- from selling advertising on the website

"Why can't I see a panorama on my iPhone?"

I chosen to do my panoramas in flash. If I would opted for .mov you would have seen them. It is just my personal preference and can be customized for everyone's need.

"Why don't you post the price?"

I am selling a template that will be customized to accommodate potential buyers preferences. Based on the level of customization the price will vary.

Thank you for the opportunity to answer your questions.
