Smooth,
When we didnt accept you to become our reseller, I never could have imagined how beneficial your presence would become for the company. With every disjointed and confused post, you actually boost the number of visitors to our site and increase the number of sales of our products. And you know why? Because the trial versions that we offer for all of our programs speak louder than your words. There is nothing your false accusations can do against a trial version. Our users are not fazed by your personal obsession with 3DVista. They want software that works and a company that supports them, and that is exactly what they find when they try our programs. Then, after careful comparison, they are able to decide whether or not they wish to buy our product. It is that simple and this process has not, and will not, be corrupted by your manipulation.
I wonder how the companies that have authorized you to resell their products feel when you publicly display your bad etiquette. I am sure some of your posts are useful, but many are too partial and rude to be taken seriously. Also, please do not forget that while you are ranting we spend our time developing and improving tools for the users.
BTW... if you thought you couldn’t hate us more, you are in for a surprise in the upcoming weeks. Some of the announcements that we will be releasing could give you a little headache...
Ron, the show is over in this corner, do not expect much more. I have nothing else to say or to discuss with Smooth. We have to remember that he resells our competition. His business tactic is to make false allegations about our software with the intention of missleading people so they end up going with the solutions he resells. If we give a client a discount deal, he protests. If we charge the standard price, he says we are ripping the customer off. If we give American and Canadian users the option to pay in US dollars, he finds it unfair for the rest... His obsession with 3DVista is frightening. It is my responsibility to represent 3DVista and honestly defend the company against false accusations. My role has been fulfilled and I will no longer partake in his ineffective game.
Regards, Jose

Lew,
It´s VERY UNFAIR what you are saying. As you can see the first place where I answered you back was here, not in our forum. We were having SERIOUS problems with our e-mail, and that was the reason why we couldn´t get your messages or reply to them. Actually we couldnt receive anyone´s messages so in compensation for that, we offered the famous 50% off deal in this forum as a response to your post. I am sorry that you didn´t see the replies and the offer we gave you. We had to set a deadline for it as you sure understand. In fact as you can see reading the thread again, we already had critics from other users about giving you such a discount.
It´s not my fault if (as you say) you didn´t stop back by here to see the offer. If you start a thread and ask for support or help I think you should get back every once in a while to see what other users have replied to you. So dont blame me for not having posted the same offer in OUR forum. You posted it HERE and we replied to you HERE.
The funny thing is that we still gave you a VERY good deal yesterday for SHOW 2 ( 2 weeks after your post), close to the 50% discount, but you still don´t find it acceptable. I honestly think we have been very generous with this offer so I don´t really understand why you keep complaining about it. As I said.. I really think you are being VERY unfair.
Regards, 3DVista Team

Hi Eagle,
Yes, it is possible to have private branded viewers. We have been working on new flash viewers for the past months and we are close to the release date. We expect to be able to post a sample of them (with fullscreen feature included) at the end of this week or beggining of the next one. The problem with jagged lines has been corrected on this version.
Regards 3DVista Team
PS. BTW, Nice tour Morten!

Dear Lew, sorry for the problems that you have experienced with contacting us by email. The email software we have used in our server appareantly had a security hole that has caused us to lose conection in our servers for the last days. We have really had a hard time with that but it seems that it is solved now. In compensation for this lack of reliability we are happy to offer you a 50% discount deal in any product that you want to purchase from us. Best Regards, Jose Ruiz 3DVista

Hi Morten,
Obviously I can not give you a summary of pro´s and con´s compared to Tourweaver because I work for 3dvista , however I can try to help you with the points that you are having problems with:
1.- The way floorplan works in SHOW 2 is pretty easy. It is based on a drag and drop system. You just need to add a map or floorplan and then drag and drop the media (panos, slideshow, video, etc..) into the area of the floorplan where you want the hotspot to be. You can insert your own hotspot icon (animated or not) or select one from the extense library included.
2.- Show 2 is still in beta (last stage actually) so some bugs can be still in the program. However the problem you are experiencing sounds to me more to a resolution or fonts size problem. If you have a panoramic screen or a laptop one, try changing the size of fonts. Some other users who had this problem reported they did this to solve it: Display Properties> Settings> Advanced> Changing DPI Settings to Normal (96dpi). I hope this helps.
3.- The fit screen to fully immersive option can be achieved in some formats but not in others. Java and flash viewers for instance need to run on an viewer with an specific size, that can not be changed that easily. What we have done to "fix" these issues is to add some features as the "empty skin" option, that lets you set the size of the viewer from SHOW, and the "full screen" button, that fills the whole area of the skin with the panorama, hiding the rest of areas and buttons.
4.- You don´t need to pay a designer to create a template, since Skin Editor program is included with SHOW 2 for free. It includes a wizard that will assist you during thr process of creating a skin. Skin editor also includes thousands of pre-made elements in its library, so you don´t even need to create buttons or designs for it.
I hope this helps a little.
Best Regards, 3DVista Team

Hi Nonova,
Please check that you have the latest beta from SHOW (released last thursday). It is much more stable than old ones and the crash problems you are experiencing should have dissapeard.
Regarding the zoomed image feature, please make sure that you are clicking on the "zoom button" and not on the image directly.
Turning off the background music and listening to the audio of an slideshow/video element could be a little bit complicated for users, since it would probably require of 2 mute buttons, one for each type of audio. We could add a checkbox to the video or slide element in SHOW so you can decide if you want the background audio to play or not when running that media. It would be a control at author level, and it could make the trick. In any case we´ll give it a try and definitely add this feature to our wishlist.
To get back to the normal view after full screen, just move your mouse pointer to the lower right corner and an arrow will appear. Just click on it to restore. When you toggle to full screen the arrow appears and stays there for a little bit so you notice it. Maybe we need to leave it there for a longer time?
Finally, Flash viewers. We are working hard to improve smoothnes and quality. This improvments will be released as free upgrades for SHOW 2 owners. Our goal is to get similar quality for immersive panoramas than current Java tours. So far, looks very promising.
Jon, thank you very much for your kind words. We really apreciate them and believe me that they are a big motivation for us. We´ll keep working as hard as we can to continuosly improve our tools.
