thanks Andrew...my thought process with possibly buying the sunex is simply to keep the total # of shots down and stitching to a minimum....if it saves me 5 or 10 minutes per tour by having fewer images(i have no idea if that amount of time is realistic)....then the one-time cost of the sunex lens compared to losing 5-10 minutes per tour multiplied by the amount of tours i would like to complete each month/year etc can add up to many hours of extra work. It would seem the one time cost would be very well worth it. that being said...i am still experimenting with ptgui and panoweaver and maybe the extra images wouldnt really add that much time to the process. I guess im going to have to buy one of these lenses....the 8mm or the sunex soon to figure this out on my own. Your info as well as the many other informative posts are giving me the insight to make better decisions. I look forward to learning from you all.... Jim

Hi...i just did a search though this forum for info on vrbrochure and the posts were a little old. Anyone have any recent experience with it? I downloaded a trial version of tourweaver and vrbrochure and found the vrbrochure to have a better interface and seemed more intuitive. Any thoughts, comments or suggestions on these or other similar products would be appreciated.

Hi...im very new at this and have been asking lots of questions on the same lenses. I thought about the 4.5mm for my canon 40d, but it is my understanding that the image circle on the sensor is smaller using the 4.5mm than my other choice of the Sunex. Obviously a smaller circular image means more pixels wasted. I dont know what the image circle of the 8mm is. My use of the lens is real estate virtual tours, so the two shot idea is intriguing, even if its not quite perfect. I can always take 3 shots if i need a higher quality.
