Yes - thiose looks much better then files on Polish lens forum - Thanks John and Sven . As one of the lucky few owners of the new lens - how about checking if NPP is moving across 8 - 15 mm ?
Also - it looks for me as the edge sharpness is OK - meaning 3 Around pano would be possible ? Overlap 20 % ?

Outdoor scenarioas are easy , Car interiours and similar are difficult .
I was thinkimg about adapting an aluminium pipe for this kind of images . Maybe 180 cm long , 2 mm thick aluminium, just one piece of metal - The stup I use Canon 5D + Tok + NN R10 is all together 1800 g heavy . Using telescopic kind of arms introduces more flex also because of all the joints ...

Now I'm curious - is the solution different from simply getting a VERY rigid pole ? ( like a thick paipe or profile ) that doesn't bend ?

I wonder if there is some importance to pole flex while shooting in horisontal position ( like outside a window, or over a cliff ).
The pole is bending a bit ( maybe 30 mm ) but as the camera rotates ( with a part of the pole ) its flex remains roughly the same ...
I have shot just a couple of this kind of panos and found it difficult to stich - so I'm looking for problem areas to solve.
Any thoughts from someone that has more experience withthis kind of panos ?

Hans -
We are more lurkers here that keep our fingers crossed for a *HN* tutorial :- ()
Regarding your Hires movie ( first link ) - it took me 12 sec to run it ( Ok I'm on 100 MBit fibre ) Looks nice - but just a dash jerky . About your 3,3 GB version - can you run it easily on an Imac ?

Dorin - it is really pity - As the Ipad platform grows - Non stitched panos are more photojournalism - safe ( non fiddled in Photoshop ) - and it looks like a lot of photojournalism will go Ipad ...
Please answer - maybe later or is there some technical issues that can only be solved in Flash ?

Is it possible to publish a html5 version of non stitched panorama ?
Livepanoramas seems to be 100% Flash right now . Is it possible to make a single non stitched pano for viewing on IPad ( with suitable lower reolution that downloads fast ) ?

It feels really strange to use traditional mouse dragging on a touchscreen ... ( not only Ipad ...) I have this strange idea that touchscreen is the future within VR No big deal.

These are not HDR panos- just four shots around -OTOH I fool around quite a lot in Lightroom 3, and Clarity slider is always busy . I agree on the slightly overcooked feel .

Frank - I'm also angry at this change, but we are so small minority .. ( I remember renting a car in Ireland and driving in wrong direction on a first roundabout - that was not funny )

OK , Sorry folks , I was at the Plymouth meeting and I have decided that image dragging is the way to go . So many people with Ipads....
Change is good .
Most people have only StreetView and Google Maps experience

I went to a classic car meeting here in Stockholm,
Different techniques were used, 4 around for all images .
I like the results because i think it mirrors this event quite OK . Lancia Appia was a really beautiful car .
