I am not familiar with this particular lens but, based on my experience, such wide-angle lenses are not suitable for panoramic photos, if you are to stitch consecutive frames. They tend to distrort images, which, in the end, appear weird if stitched together. I am very happy using a normal (50mm) lens which makes my panoramic images appear natural. Of course, if you intend to produce artistic effects this is a different story. I currently own a 12-24 Sigma lens which is quite nice but I do have to tolerate some distortion.
