Hello Dorin,

I worked quickly and only on the nadir to hide the tripod, but I shall have a look at the others pictures asap and delete those shadows... and the centaur :d

Do you have a recommendation for cleaning the sensor? I usually give it to a shop and the guy does the whole cleaning for 30euros...

Cheers

It looks to me that the problem is coming from Hostway. Maybe their server which hosts your site is overloaded, try to see from your control panel if you have a server status section or something like that...

I have emailed you with details of a ftp login on my server so you can upload there your tours to test them elsewhere, and show your hoster they have a problem wink

Access to the server seems realllllly slow to me... downloaded the MOV at an average of 14Kb/sec
Apart from the speed, I don't have any problems to access this tour in Internet Explorer (version 7 with lastest QuickTime).

Hello DOrin,

1) Yes I noticed the noise on the photos, but I don't really know how I can proceed to reduce it. I generated the TIF by applying the same settings to all the NEF files using the Photoshop raw plugin. Any advice to improve this welcome (what the hell means a "+2 EV" ???) blush

2) The settings are the settings that were recommended by Nodal Ninja for my setup, but it seems not to be correct... I have the Nikon D50 with Nikkor 10.5mm on a Manfrotto 055CLB, i'll have a look to get a better result.

Hello Everyone,

I recently made pictures in a restaurant specialized in meals from the French Alps. The base is potatoes, cheeses, pork meat but with very nice variations wink

www.chablinet.com/denieu

Comments are welcome, but I want to say that i worked on the nadirs manually, as I don't know yet how to make panos with hand held photos...

Hello there.

I noticed something strange with Pano2QTVR, when creating the panos: my tours are never heavier than 2.5Mb, with a very reasonable quality. In Pano2QTVR, i set the quality settings to 85%, to get a quicktime file of about 2.5Mb, but if i leave it to 90% (or more), it is sometimes more than 4Mb, for just 5% of difference in the quality.

In PTGui, I generate equirectangular pictures of 8200*4100 pixels.

I never buy anything online, especially when it comes to expensive equipment that we use here: you don't save that much and when there is a problem, you loose what you saved when buying by shipping safely your product.
