I've got to side with Doug on this one.
I'm sure tour wrist is aware how easy it is for somebody to create an alternative forum and alert all existing members via external email.
Within days tour wrist can lose their investment.
Keep an open mind and see what happens.

I think we can all agree that we each work in a very local market with little or no competition.
For that reason we could perhaps all benefit from sharing testimonials from satisfied clients.
If for example a hotel chain is very happy with what Doug has done for them in Texas and Doug has a testimonial from them then we could all use that testimonial to get work from the same hotel chain in our local area.
Of course testimonials where tangible benefits have been mentioned is even better.
I must admit that I have no testimonials to add right now but will of course be happy to to so when I get any.
Perhaps James could ad a testimonial section where we can all upload our testimonials.
Any comments/concerns?
Jorgen
ps. with Mathrafal's testimonials we could end up getting lots of church virtual tours

Hi guys,
I have created a very simple holding page which you can see here
I know it's not very fancy and comprehensive so I'm just looking for feedback if you think there is anything major missing before it goes live.
Thanks to Freddy for creating the virtual tour. It was a bit of a nightmare due to parallax errors and badly bracket shots.
Thanks for any comments.

I have had three inquiries which I have priced between €200 and €300 per pano so we'll see what happens.

Thanks Doug and Jon
As some of you know all my work is outsourced and it's not even close to being my main business.
Therefore I neither can nor will I price low just to get a piece of business.
I have to pay the photographer, the programmer and the introducer and the programmer is very very expensive
This might be an idea for all of you.
I have teamed up with a website for hotels. They sent out a promotional email to their 600 hotels and within the first hour I had 3 inquiries. I have found it much more effective to use distributors where I can take advantage of their existing relationship even though it might cost a small introducer's fee.
I prefer a few high margin deals instead of killing myself just to make a few dimes.
Of course the competition is almost non-existing here which obviously puts in a very different position to Doug's situation.
Anyway, I'll price the deal the way I suggested and we'll see what happens.
Thanks for your comments so far.

Imagine how much money you could have made selling virtual tours during the time you have spent discussing this matter?

In the scheme of things is it really important to agree on this matter?

Sorry but it's not about what you or your business partner want. It's about what the customer wants.
If it's just between you and your business partner then I suggest you flip a coin, bribe him, blackmail him or use any other leverage you have

Well I don't know how good my work is.
This was my first tour www.virtualspaces.fr/demo/example/
Decide for yourself.
I should mention that the tour is embedded into the specific property page which has text, photos, rates etc. etc.
I should give credit to a lot of people on this forum who helped me make something out of very poor images. None mentioned, none forgotten. You know who you are and I am grateful for all your help.

For example I am No 1 for panoramas in all languages The keyword tool says 60.500 monthly global. My actual visitors for this keyword was 543 last month and the average per year is around 10000.
Hans
Hi Hans,
actually the average monthly number of searches globally in all languages for the exact search term 'panoramas' is only 9,900.

There is a keyword tool that can show you how many times each search frase is used. That is a good way to determine what to call it.
It tells me that globally there is a search for frases:
"virtual tour" 90.500 times "virtual tours" 301.000 times "360 tour" 74.000 times "panorama tour" 9.900 times "virtual 3d": 165.000 times "virtual image" 40.500 times "360 panorama" 22.200 times "3d panorama" 5.400 times
And this is each month!!!
But this tool is much more effecient if you do the test your self as the numbers are divided into 1) local searches (for us here in Denmark it means all searches from Denmark) and 2) global searches meaning all over the internet.
Regards Morten
Hi Morten,
your data is unfortunately overstating how many searches there are. Probably because you picked match type = broad instead of match type = exact.
So global monthly search volume over the last 12 months for the following exact searches were:
panorama 673000 panoramic 33100 virtual tour 22200 virtual tours 12100 panoramas 9900 panoramic photography 6600 360 degree 5400 360 tour 4400 panorama tour 4400 360 panorama 3600 virtual home tours 2900 immersive media 2400 panorama photo 2400 panorama photography 2400 virtual 3d 2400 360 photography 1900 flash panorama 1900 tour virtual 1900 panorama photos 1300 360 virtual tour 1300 360 virtual tours 1300 3d panorama 1300 virtual home tour 1300
Hope this helps.
Regards, Jorgen
