Sam Rohn said: 16mm takes similar corrections for CA, and is not of a vastly (if at all) superior quality compared to 16mm
that should be: compared to 10.5mm

shoot raw w the nikon 10.5mm and use lightroom or camera raw in photoshop to remove the chromatic aberration, r/c-33 b/y+17 defringe: all should do it - 16mm takes similar corrections for CA, and is not of a vastly (if at all) superior quality compared to 16mm, ive shot w all the same gear, 16mm, 10.5mm, D70, 200, 300, 700 - CA must be fixed in raw for best results

hey guys
nice panos, gary
have a look at themes from graphpaper press
graphpaperpress.com/members/go.php?r=32380&i=l0
they work well w panopress in my experience, getting a plugin like panopress to work inside a slider should be doable, but will require some customization of the theme and or slider, if i am correctly understanding what you are trying to accomplish
thanks

i've dragged several different nodal ninjas all around the world for a few years now, they are incredibly durable and i have never had any sort of prob w any of my NN gear with which i have shot hundreds of panos with over the last 5 years or so, and i am not always the most gentle person w my gear...
manfrotto 303 was an ok head in its day when there were few other options, but these days it is a boat anchor, unnecessarily heavy and bulky, overpriced and outdated, and w nothing like the (best in industry) support provided by bill & the other folks at nodal ninja

just for the record, i've ordered a few panoheads and other parts from nodal ninja - fanotec over the years, and they have always been a model of politeness and efficiency, esp bill bailey, who i have seem resolve many other customers probs online in various forums, etc, some of the best customer support i've ever seen in any field actually
and as a new yorker, i am not shy about loudly complaining (its our favorite sport) about crappy support, and i try to avoid doing biz w companies that don't seem to "get it"
a couple times NN has shipped me parts w the wrong screws or plates or something like that, and they have always gotten me the missing parts next day delivery at their expense
ive also used these panoheads quite a bit, in the rain, snow, freezing cold and crazy hot, my lens has fogged over from the cold and my camera has shut down from the heat, but NN has never let me down : )

for micro 4/3 cameras like panasonic , olympus, etc, the crop factor is x2, so an 8m lens is equiv to a 16mm lens on a full frame camera, so you would shoot 6 around + zenith & nadir with this set up
nodal ninja 3 would be the better choice than R1 for this set up
ptgui & pano2Vr are good choices her too
