My webpage....panos?

A suggestion, if not already done so, would be to read through the forums here for software selections as there are dozens of applications producing quality panos.

After that, download demo versions from the vendors and try them out. I did this experimenting with the same set of photo's and now use a couple of applications (PTGui mostly) but am alwasy looking at the next thing around the corner. Presently interested in KRPano and AutoPano Pro

Sample programs are:

~ PTGui is popular amongst users here and discussed a lot
~ Panoweaver/Tourweaver for complete VT solutions
~ Flash Panorama Player (FPP) for pano's in Flash
~ KRPano is new editor and has some interesting tools for Flash pano
~ Pano2QTVR and Pano2VR are also popular
~ AutoPano Pro is a equally good application for pano production and personally, like its very easy usability

Just had a look at the You Tube clip. What a huge place and well done in bagging the assignment first time out. No pressure to get it right first time then!

Not as yet Paddy2a.

Apparently I was among the first to place an order for one (Sigma 8mm version) and in recent correspondence with Matt, he is looking to start shipping at the start of July.

He is experiencing delays encountered due to the Formula 1 season using his machine shop or something.

Am sure that he can advise the forum knowing he is a frequent reader & contributor.

Congratulations on landing the residential job and good luck with the shoot. £5m! Phew! Nice place to start with.

Let us know when you've got the pano's available so we can all have a look around smile

Hi all,

Like many others, as a newbie I find this forum is invaluable for information, ideas and technical solutions.

I also sure that it has been covered before but the forum search appears to be unavailable presently. blush

For cube faces, are there optimum sizes to view as a a small window or as full screen as give the option when viewing the gallery here?

What a cool change to see a pano of something different.

10/10 zbooy for the tank pano and also for an excellent website.

Especially liked "Čumil peeking from a manhole" because of it's unique low down perspective with the onlookers looking down to the camera.

Your website is placed in my favourites for any future viewings from Poland cool

Anyone with experience of using Canon Powershot on a mast?

Not sure how much this will help but I run a similiar elevated aerial photogrpahy company down here in the South East and use a Canon Powershot G9, (a superb camera in my opinion in it's genre) and fitted with a Canon Wide Angle lens.

I have tried 360 pano's before with mixed results as the mast is not always 100% stable if there is a breeze. Stitching can be a nightmare!

A limited FOV would be possible but Nadir/Zenith would be difficult based on the pan head tilt only giving approx. 30 degrees in total, therefore with 15 degrees +/- An upward shot from the ground and fixed in PhotoShop may work but nadir would be difficult.

With the good weather and light winds we have at the present, I give it another go this week to see what can be done.

This is a masterpiece Henk and what a fantastic building to photograph.

I remember seeing your first post when you put together a tour from the floor. Now it is awesome with a unique view.

Just wanted to add to the positive comments on this pano using FPP. I've been looking at using FPP for a while and think this has inspired me to try again with it.

One suggestion I would have would be to make the arrows a different colour as at first I didn't see them against the pale walls.

A superb use of FPP for what would be great idea for an online gallery! Like the way that the pictures float out from the pano and disappear when closed.

Is this a feature incldued in FPP?

I saw this on Saturday (on a nice blue sunny day!) whilst being the pack mule for my other half's shopping bags. The kids were climbing all over it obviously having fun.

Great tour of a beautiful church Juraj. Especially liked the hotspots to transition to the other panorma's. Can you advise what you used to do this? Tourweaver perhaps?
