I'm also using the Bobracket on a cheap monopod with an old bubble level attached at the monopod.
Monopod: www.foto-walser.biz/shop/Artikel/57/66/Monopods_w...
Bubble level: www.kaidan.com/Detail.bok?no=108

A better solution would be some kind of lens clasp with a rapid attach like the Atome from 360Precision but without the rotator, which is not needed on a monopod.

You can try to blend the output with TuFuse or with Enfuse using the GUI of Ingmar Bergmark.

wiki.panotools.org/Enfuse +
software.bergmark.com/enfuseGUI/

or www.tawbaware.com/tufuse.htm

Another possibility is blending before stitching. Using Adobe Lightroom to convert your raw images you can work with the Enfuse plugin from Timothy Armes:

I'm using the Kirk L-Bracket and a Markins Q3 ballhead from my normal photographic gear:
www.kirkphoto.com/lbrackets.html
www.markinsamerica.com/MA5/Q3.php

To go with a cheaper alternative you can use the Manfrotto 234RC kit (can be rotated 90°) but mounting like this the weight of the camera is out of the axis of the pole.
www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/cache/offonce/pid/2376

Another option is the Manfrotto Elbow Bracket with a simple hexagonal base or 3/8 screw attached to the pole.

Or you build your own L-Bracket...

To integrate qtvr via the Flash Panorama Player into Wordpress you can use a plugin from Roger Theriault: www.rogertheriault.com/agents/plugins/fpp-pano-pl...

Ed Husar has written a Wordpress plugin for Immervision:

You can use a blog and online hosting, Wordpress.com for example is easy to use. If you want to dive in you can open your own webspace with a domain moving the wordpress installation and using a premade Wordpress theme (=design).

We started a panorama website this autumn with Wordpress, my partner had customized the graphics - and our new website www.YachtPanorama.com made it's way to the showcase of Wordpress Premium Themes at www.wp-premiums.com .

I'm using the Kirk L-Bracket and a Markins Q3 ballhead

Triggering is done with radio trigger. Rotation shouldn't be a problem with the Manfrotto light stand, just open the screw on the stand and rotate the whole pole.

BTW, I'm using a lightweight fiberglas pole, with the weight of the Canon 5D + lens + ballhead the combination is usable up to 4 or 5 meters.

Hello Martin,

I'm using a Canon 5D, first with a "shaved" Nikon 10.5 fisheye, now with a "shaved" Tokina 10-17 fisheye. You could go with 3 images, but taking 4 pictures is more practical because you rotate always at 90°.

For the pole I have the "Fiberglas Teleskop Tower" reduced to 6 m - this version is called Panorama Pole - from Walter Spieth. The 5D is mounted with a small Markins ballhead. With this weight you can get up to 4 meters, and there is no problem to carry this small and lightweight pole.

If you need more info contact me off list, on the german panorama forum is a thread about this pole: www.panorama-forum.net/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&...

Just speaking about clones and clowns - the 300N from Manfrotto is quite big and heavy, but yes, the functionality is the same. Also BMW and Mercedes drive on four wheels.

It's good that somebody improves the rotators, because there isn't any improvement from Manfrotto. And it's always better to be able to choose from different products.

The website looks fine, Nikos.
Only thing, if somebody jumps in at the greek page, the link to the english pages could be more visible, for example with the flag always visible not only at a mouse over.
