Nice panos. Very nice.
How much does a place like that go for?
(A toilet wrapped with a bow LOL)

Nice work, galesjam. You have some nice panos there.
Reminds me of a couple of years ago when my wife and I went running about in Europe.
Please post again when the others are up.

Yes, exactly. The more mm, the less angle of view.
Remember, though, the wider angle (less mm), the less detail in the final product. That's the trade-off.

FWIW, the Manfrotto 303SPH is an excellent pano head. I've been using one for quite some time now, and have always had great results.
Plus, it works with all my cameras - the Nikon digital, Mamiya medium format, and the Nikon 35 mm.
It's probably the most versatile pano head out there.

Works fine here too. Except some error message telling me to see the whole tour I need QuickTime installed.
Which is, of course, already installed.
WinXP, Firefox, QT 7.02.

What's the best method to do this (Windows)?
I tried PanoCube Plus, but it chokes on large files.

Ahh, yes. That's the head. <slap upside the head>
The tripod is a Gitzo Studex.
Love it, too

I couldn't live without my Manfrotto 303sph. It's great.
A little heavy for backpacking (I wouldn't want to haul it down the Camino del Diablo), but it works with all my cameras and lens combinations perfectly.

PTGui is a very good program. It will do what you want.
That said, it does have a steep learning curve. You'll have to spend some time with it...but I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Try the Yahoo forums: groups.yahoo.com/group/PanoTools/messages
(I have no commercial interest in PTGui!)

From the Kiwi site, "The KiWi is also easily upgradeable with optional camera brackets to support fisheye lenses."
So the answer to your question would really depend on what camera equipment you're using.
Give the people at Kiwi a call - I'm sure they'd be willing to help.

Hi Cleetus
There's some sort of problem there, I don't know where it is, perhaps your server - but that's only my guess.
Sometimes the images load OK, sometimes they don't. If they don't, there is weird stuff that fills in the pano...it looks like repetitive parts of the image. The image never seems to load properly.
I hope you get it worked out...looks like some nice work there.
If you'd like to try and put up a pano on my site for a test, let me know.
