VR ObjectWorx is a simple to use QuickTime object movie creator. As with all VR Toolbox's software, you can create hotspots, embed annotations (text within the image) and control compression and playback characteristics.
As with all the VR Toolbox software, you have to specify the source image size if you are using pre-grabbed/scanned images. This is a shame because it would be nice to be able to just say 'same as source'. However there is also one great feature for image grabbing - support for object rigs. Professional photographers who have an object rig, such as from Kaidan, will be able to automate image capture.
Some of the more useful functions, such as being able to correct for off-centre rotation and to adjust frame position (which prevents the object from seeming to 'wobble') are missing from ObjectWorx and are only available in VR Toolbox's suite product VR Worx (which basically is PanoWorx, ObjectWorx and SceneWorx all in one with a few extras too). As a result, unless you have a good object rig and/or plenty of patience, you might have problems creating good quality object movies with ObjectWorx.
The stupid thing is, the people who will most want to buy ObjectWorx rather than VRWorx are the same people who will most benefit from the features that are missing in ObjectWorx and are only in VR Worx. Chances are if you would rather spend less by getting ObjectWorx then you probably don't have the equipment with which to produce the accurately aligned pictures needed to get high quality results from ObjectWorx.
VR ObjectWorx is a very nice piece of software... but it is lacking a little in features.
