multi-row (any arrangement)
| Supported lens types |
rectilinear lenses. Fisheye lenses are supported in Stitcher Unlimited, and 2-shot panoramas in Unlimited DS
| Minimum focal length |

Cineon files (CIN), JPEG, Maya (IFF, TDI), PNG, Portable PixelMap (PPM, PGM, PNM), PIC, TIFF, TGA, BMP. PhotoShop PSD (including layers) is supported in Stitcher Pro and Unlimited/DS. HDR (High dynamic range) images are supported in Stitcher Unlimited and DS.
| Supported source image orientations |
Any - including both tilted up/down and rolled left/right
| Correct linear distortion |
yes
| Stitch greyscale images |
yes
| Lens selection |
Lens is auto-detected from EXIF data in your images. Alternatively you can specify focal length or horizontal field of view. Stitcher can attempt to determine focal length after three images are stitched, and can try to correct linear distortion with two images. Lens parameters can be fine-tuned if the panorama forms a complete 360 degrees. Lens parameters (including linear distortion settings) can be saved to a lens config file and reused easily for future projects.
| Source Image adjustment |
Automatically "equalize" (adjust brightness) of images to match
| Alignment process |
Fully automatic alignment, specify control points (matching points in adjacent images), drag-and-drop images into alignment or any combination of these
| Automatable |
Save a project as a template so the lens and image position parameters can be reused. Multiple projects can be batch rendered.
| Stitched image adjustment |
Specify output image size. Stitcher Unlimited can convert between projections of panoramas, e.g. cubic to equirectangular. Stitcher Pro and Unlimited support 16bit output and allow you to select blending method (including using Enblend), choose Interpolation method and Sharpening.
| Output options |
HTML publishing. QuickTime VR (cylinder or cube) with full control over QuickTime attributes, meta data and settings. Create a conventional (non interactive) video and output to Google Earth (KML). QuickTime VR hotspots can be created in Stitcher Unlimited. Stitcher Unlimited can also output to the Spi-V viewer (Shockwave), ImmerVisions's Pure Player (Flash and Java) and VRML.
| Output file formats |
JPEG, QuickTime VR, TIFF, AVI, MPEG, KML in all versions. Stitcher Pro and Unlimited also support IFF, PIC, PPM, PhotoShop PSD (with layers and masks), SGI, TGA. Stitcher Unlmited also supports Shockwave 3D (W3D), VRML (WRL) and ImmerVision PurePlayer (IVP).
