Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, around 350 km offshore from the Brazilian coast.

This photo was taken from the "Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Fort" on the island. From its walls one has an exceptional view of the stone pier at the Santo Antônio Bay, the "Vila dos Remédios" (Remédios Village) and the beaches near the "Morro do Pico" (Peak Hill).
