Seonunsa Temple
Seonunsa Temple is busiest in March and April when camellia flowers are in full bloom. The temple was built by the monk Ven. Geomdan in 577 and flourished in the late Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), when it had 189 halls and 89 hermitages. Today, only 13 halls remain against a backdrop of camellia groves. Visitors are recommended to visit Dosoram Hermitage for great views of Mt. Dosolsan.
