The Band Shell Christiansted waterfront
26 Sep 2009, by Tom Williamson
This panorama was taken inside the band shell on the waterfront of historic Christiansted harbor on Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The little island visible in the harbor is called Protestant Cay, due to Saint Croix being mostly Catholic in centuries past, somewhere else was needed to bury Protestants. The building with the beautiful staircase is the old Danish Customs House was built from 1734-1830. All of the surrounding structures are part of the Christiansted National Historic site.
Equipment Used
I used a Nikon D200 with a Sigma 8mm lens, processed in PTGui Pro and Pano2VR.
