This is taken at the very summit of El Teide on Tenerife at an altitude of 3,718 metres. You require a special permit to reach the summit which is available from the national parks office in Santa Cruz

Taken with Nikon D70 and 10.5mm fisheye with an Agnos Rotator on a Giottos tripod and edited in Photoshop Elements 5
