BTW for the price of the "budget version" (2523 euro's) you can get 7,5 DIY Merlin sets smile

That would be great if you could also have a look to the new MK Panomachine with double axis (www.marc-kairies.de/english/mk-panomachine/index....) and make some comparison as these products are very similar.

Sure wink
The panomachine has one big problem and that's the huge brick at base.

Hello:

The brick rotates - no problem with the Nadir. Place is needed because of a special drive concept (very fast & precise and a good resolution for timelapse).

See you in Cologne - Hall 2.1 / A023

Best regards

Marc

Been there seen it….. the Seitz Drive 2.0 is shock and awe, the brick not.
The Seitz can overrule the camera for bracketing so no Promate is needed.
Second, the Seitz drive can be held horizontal or in any direction you want.
Don't try that with the brick or the Seitz Drive 1.0
Price difference with cables and all is negligible.
Forget the brick, go for the Seitz if you have the money.
Another option is to start with just the Seitz base rotator and buy the upper motor/head later.
It has a 3/8 screw on top, so any NN, whatever, can be mounted.
Grtz!
