If you are sure your NPP position is correct, you should manually add control points near the misalignment

But that looks like a NPP problem to me

Can you show a screen capture of the Nadir in the stitched image?

NPP means No Parallax Point

How did you decide the forward and back position on the camera on the 303sph?

Do you have the free FSPViewer?

It will let you view an Equirectangular Projection locally and look straight down at the Nadir.

You can do a Screen Capture of the Nadir, post it and I may be able to tell you the problem

Leon, you can check the setup of your panorama head using this guide: www.johnhpanos.com/epcalib.htm . As to control points, there is a tendency for the points generator to cluster the points in the centre of the overlap areas. You may need to assign points on identical features in the areas near the top and bottom of the images so that the optimizer can align those areas accurately. (With blue sky, you may not be able to find features towards the zenith. Avoid having points on moving objects like clouds). The other thing you can try is to select advanced mode using the button on the right of the Project Assistant tab and go to the Optimizer tab: in the Minimize lens distortion option, select Heavy+lens shift, and click on the Run Optimizer button. That should improve the results. Another option worth trying is the "Delete worst control points" on the Control Points menu - the re-optimize. This will get rid of any inaccurately positioned points.

Thx everthing John Houghton .... I'm really new in this business. You gave very helpful links. Heavy + lens shift also a very good clue. I'm really grateful.

I found the thread that Smooth posted on the Easypano forum that has Nadir screen caps showing what the tripod and Nadir hole look like for various No Parallax Position problems

If you can view the tripod in your stitched images or take some with a 5-7° tilt down so you can see the tripod, his samples might send you in the right direction

Go to www.easypano.com/forum/default.asp, click on the Panoweaver forum and search for Zoning in on perfect (NPP) via Nadir view

They're really helpful

Good luck

Leon, Your stitch looks ok, though it's not a large enough image to judge its technical quality adequately. One thing that can be seen is that it's in need of levelling, to get the verticals properly upright. This is a simple operation: see www.johnhpanos.com/levtut.htm.
