While the concept is a good idea. The name will only see them sued. You cannot use Google's name the way they are. Unless of course they own the "Google" Trademark otherwise it is a breach and will only lead to grief for the person attempting to cash in on the Google name.
Panosearch or Panofind would have been a smarter idea!

Whatever the legal niceties, it does work, or does it?
I entered the name Kanakan a tiny village in Iran that I am confident I alone have made panoramas of. Lo and behold, up came five correct results for those panoramas I posted on 360Cities.net but no result for those posted on my own site, Panoradiant.co.uk or Panoguide.com
Repeating the search on regular Google it returned just one result, until I clicked the line above that result, Video results for Kanakan panorama then all five results of my posting on 360Cities were displayed with thumb nails. But again no results from my own site or Panoguide.
Returning to Panogoogle I repeated the original search with no results this time for my stuff, just a result for a Turkish site devoid of panoramas or any other photographs. Perhaps the name Kanakan was buried in its thousands of words somewhere but I was searching for panoramas not words.
So if I can get better results from Google why should I bother with quirky Panogoogle?

panogoogle works off of a list of VR sites maintained by marco trezzini (of VRMag, panodigg, etc), so it is intended to minimize non-VR results -
if your VR site is not listed, you can submit it at www.panogoogle.com/submit.htm
i think it is basically just an experiment on marco's part, and a work in progress....
mark, your iran panos are really great, one thing that might help them place better in search engine results is to put proper title tags on your pages, like here -
panoradiant.co.uk/iran/kanakan/
page title (top of browser window) says "New Page 1", something more descriptive like "Kanakan, Iran - 360 degree panorama - Mark Schuster" would get you better results, the title tag is considered very important for SEO, search engine optimization

Dear Mark.
When I first became aware of panogoogle.com, I too did the most logical thing; enter "Flashificator" in the search field, and that turned up nothing at all. So I wrote Marco a mail, and 3 minutes (or thereabout) later, I got a friendly reply back from him, informing me that the flashificator site had been added to the search engine database (along with flashpanoramas.com), and the results poured in when I tested again.
The search is very narrow as of now, but the more sites that are reported to be included in the searches, the better it will be.
Maybe someone could submit your site to them... but it is always best we do the footwork ourselves. If it was completely automatic, it would be google... with 20 million results, where 19.999.000 would not be accessible, and the remaining 1000 accessible results would mostly be worthless trash... unless you are a "power user" of Google and know how to narrow your searches to come up with desired results.
panogoogle.com is a great initiative for the panorama community, and should be applauded by our community, rather than immediately throw out the big bad lawyer-boogieman and focus on the "whatifs".
Unless people are nasty lawyers who want to sue the shirt of anyone they think might be a proper prey, they should focus on the good things.
Maybe it would be a good idea to have a little sticky under the search field on panogoogle, stating something like:
"If you know of a panorama site, please email us the URL and we will add it"
... or some such.
