G'day Eric,
Great mini-review thanks. I gather from your info on the smaller nadir, that using a 10.5mm on a D200/D70/D80 and using the -15 degree setting still provides plenty of overlap for the zenith shot?
I've got my order in already
And that pano you have of the Tower & the lights is just unbelievable, brilliant.
Thanks,
Aaron.

Hi Aaron,
Thanks !
I made a test during my last holidays with the 360P Adjuste: - Nikon D70 - 10.5mm - row: 5 pictures (**not 6**) - zenith: 1 - camera: -15°
>Overlap (mini - maxi)
>Quick render of the QTVR VR fullscreen (my grand-ma's house ) www.fromparis.com/tests/test_adjuste_-15_aaron/
'hope that will help

Thanks Eric,
That is outstanding. Are you planning to use 5 horizontal shots from now on? That test looks great, I don't know why I would continue to use 6 shots? And the -15° is perfect.
Much appreciated.
Aaron.

Hi,
' don't really know. (c) (tm) eric r. It's good for a QTVR fullscreen but not for a 4mx3m print
Who can give us his advice for 5 or 6 pictures with the Nikon 10.5mm here ?
Eric

I used to stitch 5+1 few times. If you don't "really" need extra overlap (moving objects in the pano) 6+1 doesn't have advantages over 5+1. Both workflows has the same resolution.

Great, but how does CubicConverter operate with only 5 horiz shots? This is probably a noob question but none the less. (I've been taking nadir shots on the pano head for about 20 panos for some stupid reason. Then I realized what a waste of time when I only needed the handheld nadir. Can you tell I am still a noob)

CubicConverter only transform the equirectangular image created by your stitching program (PTMac, Stitcher, PTGUI...) in a Quicktive VR. The number of shots is not important for CC.
(Sometimes it's good to have a nadir shot on the head in the stitching software but it's an other story... )
