It must be impossible to rotate the camera around the NPP and they will be off about a few meters even when the chopper turns around itself...I guess because of the distance parallax is probably not a big issue...But this looks like HDR...The sun coming from beyond the volcano, "this side of the clouds" are so clear to see...I assume the camera is shaking due to wind and the vibrations of the chopper; how in earth does one make HDR under those shooting circumstances? ...

By shooting RAW. No HDR required for 99% of your panoramas.

When they are closed to the ground I assume they use an octocopter, otherwise a normal chopper, camera stretched out from the window...The chopper turns around the NPP - of course not very accurate but with the objects about a mile away I guess there's little parallax...How they do the underwater and the panos from outside the chopper showing the passengers I don't know...I just know they do wonderful things...It is worth visiting their page regularly... Best thing is to subscribe to them...So you'll be informed when there's a new work...And they need also help to get official permissions for shooting in some countries...Not in Turkey, otherwise I'd jump in... Regards Burak
