Adapting Samyng 8mm for Minolta/Sony to Canon full frame camera?

I can buy Samyang 8mm for Minolta AF/Sony Alpha for a very good price. The problem is I have Canon (full frame, Canon 5D). Do you think its possible to use such lens on Canon camera with some kind of adapter?

Hold your money back and get a used Tokina 10-17 Fisheye.
Why is the shaved Tokina 10-17 mm better than a Sigma 8 mm for full-frame to take panoramas: www.360pano.de/en/tokina-sigma.html

Thomas Krueger said: Why is the shaved Tokina 10-17 mm better than a Sigma 8 mm for full-frame The question raised is about a Samyang 8mm NOT a Sigma 8mm and you would also shave the Samyang for use on the fullframe Canon 5D.
As for a Sony A mount to EOS adapter. I couldn't say. But the lens is fairly priced even new and picking one secondhand isn't even all that difficult.
Given the choice I would be going with a Canon mount lens for the Canon body. The price difference can't be that great.

Thx Tobias,
@Peter, check per email at foto-Tip if the lens is in stock the moment you order online. Reserve the lens for you before you pay in advance.

Andrew,
next time I will have a look to your site and your price as well. I should have known.
The biggest deal for Peter would be you send the lens to Tobias, he shaves it and sends it to Peter.
This would be something that works inside the Euro Country.
Cheers to you guys, Andrew, Tobias and Peter,
Heinz
BTW: what's your price of the new Samyang 8mm AE Nikon Andrew?

Thanks for the answers. BTW, do I need panoramic head when using this lens on full frame camera? I wanna shoot mostly interiors.

Note that Minolta MD is old manual focus mount and is different from Minolta AF/ Sony Alpha mount. In both cases, Minolta to Canon requires an adapter that needs optics to compensate for extra thickness. if you shave the Samyang 8mm and use it on a full frame camera, Nodal Ninja R1/10 pano head is a great choice.
