is this a correct optimal point of stiching?

i use canon 550d, sigma8mm

nodal ninja lower rail 5.3cm; upper rail 9.6 cm.
i get the result in the photo. what do you think?
there are some stching errors in the floor

It is hardly "optimal" if there are stitching errors!

The nadir footprint looks close for left and right positioning but only if you are stitching without any control points being on the tripod or panohead. More obvious to tell should you use Smartblend as the blender.

Upload a set of images and I will stitch them and let you know.

hi there,

if you're using the Canon 550D & 8mm Sigma, you only need to shoot 4-round, not 6. Perhaps the massive overlaps are also contributing to the stitching errors? (but I'm no expert).
