Can you create an animation of a door opening in pano2vr? I saw this in krpano, but don't know if you can do it in pano2vr. Thank you

In Object2vr yes you can. At frame with door take 3 more images each with the door 20° open with next frame, 20° open with next frame,20° open with next frame, then full open.

Rerference to KRano - Maybe you can show us the door opening pano URL so we too can see what you are referring too.

URL please

I thought Object2vr was for objects like a pair of shoes. I need it in my virtual tours, I need pano2vr to support that. Am I mistaken with object2vr?

krpano.com/tours/weingut/

you can see the courtines spreading. There are 5 panos in this virtual tour. I am talking about the one on the bottom.

Ryan,

The answer is no. Pano2VR cannot do this at this time. It is the same thing as pinning a fireplace or video footage to play on a television. This is a long awaited feature that is sure to happen but as yet it hasn't.

Guys,

If you have not noticed, in both KRPano and FPP you can animate pretty much anything on demand if you know how to shoot for it and program it.

All three are very good tools, I have them all and will continue to support them all as upgrades come along. More is better here.

Pano2VR is a very good tool for traditional simple virtual tours. KrPano and FPP can also fit into this role, but with a bit more of a learning curve - and yes that includes FPP's Flashificator because of it's current non-standard interface.

If you want to produce advanced interactive 360's, then today it's KrPano if you care about mobile too. If not them perhaps FPP and Flashificator can work for you.

and as always, this may change tomorrow. smile

Pano2VR is at version 3.1 and "pinning" an element is a feature with a target release of version 3.2 according to the Pano2VR road map.
