Hi guys,
just found this on one of my dealers website:
www.cameranu.nl/nl/Objectieven/Tokina/Zoom/Tokina...
Available for Canon and Nikon for the normal price of the lens.
May be it is there a little bit longer. I found the info today. Just to let you know for those who are afraid of shaving a lens themselves. And it is metal inside!
Cheers, Heinz

About time! But I'm wondering what the last sentence means..
This ultra wide-angle Tokina AT-X 107 AF DX Fisheye 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 Lens for Canon APS-C delivers the ultimate in wide-angle drama for your Canon APS-C camera. A 180° view at the 10mm setting takes in more than the human eye sees, with a typical dramatic curvature of field. At the 17mm end of the zoom, it's a very wide-angle lens. This very useful lens contains one super-low dispersion glass element, helping to make the lens compact, lightweight (12.3 oz/350g) and fast focusing. The front element has a Water Repellent (WR) optical coating which makes removing water spots and fingerprints much easier. The lens includes a built-in lens hood.

I'd say the images were updated but the text was overlooked.

Hey Heinz, that's fun.. At 04-03-2007 I asked Robbert Langezaal (Manager Tokina Services Europe b.v. Almere The Netherlands) if they could make a lens version without the hood. At 05-03-2007 I got reply that they would discuss it at the PMA in Las Vegas. It took 4 Y but hey, they did..
