Not sure if this effects how virtual tours and videos are played on Apple mobile devices, but it appears that Steve Jobs has had an epiphany and given his blessing to using Flash on Apple mobile devices.
That and he came to the realization that Google's Droid, which does support Flash is outselling the iPhone and they're about to release their version of an iPad.
Its nice to see marketing hype being changed by market reality for a change.
Ho-ray, I think....

I don't think it changes such things much if at all: www.informationweek.com/news/smb/mobile/showArtic...
"The new rules will not bring the Flash platform to the iPhone, but apps created in Flash and translated using Adobe's Flash Packager for iPhone can now be judged on their merits rather than their technology."

As it is now, no smartphone can smoothly interact with heavy flash content like virtual tours, even if the iPhone had flash tomorrow, cube sizes alone would be enough to crash the browser. We are talking below 1 ghz processor in these mobile devices. We aren't there yet, but we will be soon.
Besides this announcement only applies to the app store.

There is one major problem with Flash on ipad. You need to remember, it was design with none flash support in mind. Hence you won't be able to really well interact with Flash content, even if you manage to open it. There is going to be major collision between the Touch Screen controls and Flash interactions. Whenever you will try to scroll panorama, you will just scroll the page instead. When designing Flash for Touch Screen device, we actually have to void some of the actions because touch screen can't differentiate between roll over and press/release.
