Looks like they created a little add-on controller box for a rather generic motorized panhead and are packaging them together (with a higher markup on the head itself)-
You can find the motorized head here:

This part is weak:
"The uploaded shooting program is saved in adapter's memory , it can be only changed by uploading a new program. If your PC doesn’t have the RS232C serial port, you can use the USB-RS232C reduction."
I think that would be just about be every PC nowadays no? Which of course you will have to bring along if you want to change the shooting parameters.

Bradford I don't think you mentioned the manufacturer and model number.
If some one wants to check the price on Adorama or B&H Photo, I though that might help them find it
Don't you think so?
Note Bescor makes 2 versions of this head, one rotate 180°, the other a full 360°

Nope, not particularly.
Within the context of the post, I "though" that "some one" would be able to find what they needed from the actual link I provided. Even you.

Nice find Smooth, been looking for something like this, and for 99€ it looks like it has some very nice possibilities for mast panos.
I already have all of the other accessories including the Bescore head so I sent them an email. My main concern was how to convert the Bescore to 360 degrees.

That's ok, being that B&H is closed yet AGAIN until Saturday, they won't be able to help you right now either.

I received and email addressed to me personally with my full name and I had never heard of them. Looks legit enough so I figured I'd put on the forum for those who could shed some light on the people or the product.
Bradford, Yes, serial ports are a thing of the past for sure. Actually I didn't even know there was a use for them anymore or that you could get a USB adapter! Learn something new everyday. I guess it is a cheap enough system for those with the need. Pity the tilt is restricted to -/+ 15 degrees. Though with the right lens that is more then enough and for scenic poster panos I can see it use.

Got the same kind of spam, and in the mail I am given the "opportunity" to opt out of their spam list.
Also got the mail with my full name. Makes me wonder where they are harvesting the mails from? No, not from panoguide, since the email account I have here, is not the one I received it to.

I seem to remember the same "spam" thing with a recent pano contest that we wondered where they got our information.
I don't mind so much when things are of interest. But I would like to know who is sharing/selling their mailing lists. Because I then may have second thoughts about them.

I agree.
The source could be yahoo groups, as I see it, but I could be wrong. My account in the NG panotools yahoo group is created from an old yahoo mail, but the responses from the group are sent to my gmail account. EDIT: The spam-mail went to my gmail account.
So it could be that yahoo is collecting and selling mail account lists that are relevant to the buyer of the lists... or... it might be google doing it... or maybe it's simply been harvested by a member of the NG Panotools group? If you are a member there as well, it could be the source of the "leak" of mail/name information?
I never sign up for any newsletters or mails from any service, so being "offered" to opt out of their mailing list is quite a "kind offer"
