Vertical Panorama in QuickTime?

I have a vertical panorama that I would like to also scroll vertically in QuickTime.
I use the Make Cubic software to convert the jpg image to a 360x180 panorma, but now I need to make it 180x360.
Make Cubic automatically rotates the pano to a horisontal one.
Any ideas?

360x180 = 180x360 = 360x360 or whatever.. is the same sphere you produce it in the same way. I guess you want to have 360° or more! liberty for tilting the camera in viewer, then at certain point you'll obviously see the things normal then upside/down then normal again so forth..
so a way could be
---8<------------ .. using very high values for tilt limits to avoid the +90 and -90 limits on QuickTime. You can see the same behavior in DevalVR.
For example, you can create a MOV file with Pano2VR with maxTilt=9000 and minTilt=-9000
---8<------------
as Fiero said sometime ago

Thanks for your advice. It would be simple if one just could rotate the quicktime player in the html page =) The image looks like this ....

Glad to help, pay attention that the only thing I done is to set the tilt limit at +9000 and -9000 instead of +90 and -90
You might be able do the same with your MOV authoring software.

Thanks one more time. I had no luck with the vertical jpg, but making it "normal" horisontal jpg, I managed ( with your settings in Make Cubic, that I use ) to be able to rotate freely.
