John Houghton's tutorial is inspired and has really increased the quality of my photos considerably.
I have not used the hand-held shot, since most of the pictures I take need a tripod and are bracketed images. Usually, I have used EnfuseGui to blend these and go on from there. But lately have come across a couple of times when this has not really been possible, especially when you have tourists wandering around between bracked shots. (By the way, has anyone else noticed that, when you are there patiently waiting with your camera, tourists tend to linger longer - almost as if taunting the poor guy with the tripod?) Saving the final file as a psb with all the layers provides me with the chance of sorting that sort of problem out. Using EnfuseGui, though, the chances of ghosting is increased considerably.
So, after that spiel, the question is, will the viewpoint technique work with, for example, five bracketed shots of the nadir? I have tried it, but have had no real success so far. Perhaps someone else has and is prepared to share the secret.

Yes, it definitely does and I couldn't tell at which part secrets are involved I tried both, using all images and fusing them in ptgui or fusing them beforehand. Either works with viewpoint correction although meanwhile I tend to use the latter.

Jon, You can certainly have several bracketed viewpoint images. If the images are linked on the Image Parameters tab, they will share the same viewpoint correction parameters as well as the same yaw, pitch and roll values.

Thanks to Master Houghton my nadir increased the quality too!
Jon, I always shot HDR and it works fine for me. Just don't forget to link them!
