round cropped & burnt sides in hugin

Hi there,
I am trying to stitch three photos (10mm, landscape) together in Mac Hugin.. Although I can see the perfect composition in Preview, when I stitch the images and produce the final tiff, the sides are always too much cropped in, rounded and somehow burnt regardless of what projection or setup I use..
This is the first time I am having this problem; tried everything but couldn't figure it out.
Any input will be highly appreciated!
Here's the output:

I guess I need to provide further info. I use the nona, enblend and enfuse engines.. also after transformation, all individual layers are round cropped and burned at the edges..

I have seen this before in converting RAW images using Photoshop CS4 and Camera Raw 5.6 converter (ACR). Part of converting the RAW to TIF image is in the LENS Correction process.
What I am seeing in your image is "burnt edges" is at the edge of the rim where the glass joins with metal rim. Typically this is the lens zone where there is 'Light Fall Off'. Often the lens will cause vignette or get darker. In ACR you can adjust the vignetting area to become brighter by using 100% for vignette removal.
Your image center appears darker also... In the ACR Lens Correction module you can adjust the imges midpoint to be brighter.
The burnt affect is probably caused by lack of white balance adjustment. I think those intense Tungsten lamps in the center of the image are your issue. You can adjust your white balance to 3200 Kelvin.
Hope this helps

You say you are stitching three 10mm images but don't mention bracketing (or RAW). The overall shape of the panorama is very odd, with that pointy bit at top and bottom. If the preview looks completely normal, maybe you could show a screenshot of that for comparison. I suggest that you select Blended Exposure Layers so you can see what the input to Enfuse is like.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions.. it looks like the problem is in processing the individual images; that's where the round cropping takes place.
Here's step-by-step procedure in pictures:
The three original files (resized and converted to jpg):
The screenshot of the preview.. see how it includes all the margins:
These are the processed individual tiff images; realize that they are significantly cropped (e.g., cannot see the wall on the left):
And the resulting image:
If further details needed, I can try to fish those out as well.. Thanks again for your help..

I don't know what the sizes of the original images were, but the ones posted above don't have identical dimensions. Resizing the second one to match the others, and using lens type rectilinear, focal length 10mm, crop factor 1.6 - the images stitched ok. Enfuse would not be used in a simple stitch like this. I just stitched with nona and enblend. I have uploaded the project file and stitched panorama to:
www.johnhpanos.com/hug.zip
Maybe you can compare the settings in that with your own project.

Looks like the vignetting optmization has failed: reset the vignetting parameters in Camera & Lens tab and reoptimize exposure & camera response.

Thanks a lot, John.. it definitely looks much better, but there still is the unwanted cropping at the sides..
Jannwfoo: You were right! It was the vignetting optimization! When I reset that and stitch was all perfect again. Yet, I couldn't find a way to re-optimize exposure and camera response. Doing those brought back the round cropped sides. Nonetheless, I now can play around with this!
Thanks a lot for all the help!!!
