I trie to maken a sferical panorama with my 5dMkII and Sigma 8 mm/F4. What I have done after setting the NPP:
- 4 pics horizontal with 7 degrees shift - 1 picture of de zenith (not really necessary - one picture of the nadit taken out of my hand on the place where the tripod was (yes, with a big part of me in the picture) --> after that masking. Nadir is biggest problem.
Are there other users with this combination who can advise me?

With a 180 degree horizontal fov, three shots around ought to be sufficient. If you are using PTGui Pro to stitch the images, you can use the viewpoint correction feature to stitch in the handheld nadir image along with the other shots. There's a tutorial on the PTGui web site and another at www.johnhpanos.com/ptgvpt.htm . If using a stitcher without that facility, you will need to generate a rectilinear view of the nadir area (by generating cubefaces or with the edit feature in Pano2VR, for example), and merge in the nadir manually with Photoshop, aligning it with the transform tools.

I know the tutorials John. Thanks! How do you make a nadir shot when you're inside a house when you have to use longer exposure times (iso is for example allready iso 4 or 800).

If you look at Johns tutorial you can see he takes the nadir shot from a different angle, he did it handheld, but you can move the tripod back a little and use that and just take that shot at an angle. The steps shown in the tutorial still applies whether you use a tripod or not
